100 Iq is normal tho, also IQ does not reflect everything about intelligence (in america the average is 98)

Verdigree

Oh, Eternity said that Chainsaw has become much weaker, interesting.

Spillthefire6

I love how the gore and blood is kept as it should be...but the vomit is completely censored

Anzac-A1

Yeah, everyone jokes that Kobeni's Devil is the Sloppy BJ Devil, because it would def explain why she's so secretive about it.

Cesar Jesus Gonzales

The song that they use in the beginning fight was the ED for episode 3

Nate Zabinski

Duuuude, that Eternity Devil feels like a whole week ago by the end of the episode.

Cysa Damercen

Love the new model, and happy to see you making content during such a trying time but take care of yourself first. Your a great content creator, but as a fan I can more than understand the need to take care of personal health over work. So please get well, and hopefully we will see more of you in the future.

Kirby Glover

What's really dope is that the praise you said about the flashback timing is all Fujimoto, he really knows when to show what, and it only gets better as the story advances. MAPPA definitely deserves praise for how they depict the flashbacks though, the editing choices they make during them are excellent

Pierce Arner

The new model is awesome. The style is amazing and the shaded eyes and heart eyes toggles during the reaction were SO good! When I was watching the SECOND I saw the Cigarette extinguishing match cut, I knew it would absolutely send you. I love the film details on stems and audio, as well as the muting or saturation of color. The breakdown on using flashbacks after the fact was also really solid. Chainsaw Man as a story does the reveal of information brilliantly. (Also, Evangelion is hella worth watching especially if you like series that are an exploration of trauma. I went back through the Series, End, & Rebuild again last year and still love it). No big tl;dr this week mainly because this episode is super concise, but there is one big point I love about how they did this one. Everyone aside from Denji & Power went through a LOT of Trauma in the encounter with the Eternity Devil that happened in a single moment of time. This episode has the reverse with Denji's first kiss being traumatic for him, but everyone else kinda laughing it off as just typical drunken shenanigans. You get the best depiction of that trauma vs. trauma & ambition vs. ambition when Arai is helping Denji puke and talking about how he's jealous of Denji's skills as a Devil Hunter. It shows the big juxtaposition in how Denji's life and skill sets are different but also how everyone fits together as a team. Love it! Thanks for the health updates, glad you're rockin' the walker, and hope that things go smoothly for ya Friday!! Glad you can be doin' these things ya love with us.

Derek

Evangelion is probably my favorite series ever, it is absolutely worth watching. Especially with how much you love your trauma babies.

Best of luck with the surgeries. I have really been enjoying your reactions. You've quickly become my favorite reaction channel with your analysis and personality. Hope you get better and continue to share your reactions with us.

I was eating during the "kiss" scene. Very immersive. Also the song that goes hard is ED3, nice use of licensed music tbh.

Crustacean Monarch

Lovely reaction as usual. My boy Denji going to make you proud next episode. Also, good luck with the surgery. Everything will be fine, your in the care of professionals, things will improve.

Ivan

Love you, take care of your self! Also.... F your dad for no chicken/soup swap /JK Hope everything goes well healthwise!

Bob

"Is Evangelion worth watching"? Yes, 100%! Maybe I'm over enthusiastic because Eva is very important to me personally but I think it's a must see for anyone who's willing to try and take seriously an animated show about teenagers fighting aliens with giant robots. It isn't even really about the robots and the fighting, it's much more about the human condition and all it entails, explored through some absolutely fascinating characters. Can't recommend it enough!

Joey Cat

That scene man, almost fell off my chair when it happened XD! Also is our boy finally gonna get some!?

Joey Cat

Good luck with the surgery, you got this!

LampyLust

poor denji can't catch a break

Damsgaard

woah this new avatar is super pretty

sapandstars

evangelion is 100% worth watching, but it can be hard to find the pre-netflix version

sapandstars

hope your health improves rapidly! always grateful for your reactions, but never as important as collecting pokemon cards

Hommyz1

I agree with your workout music choices. I often use the Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal soundtracks to get pumped up.

Aethergoggles

Good luck with the surgery. I live the fact Himeno carries a little portable ashtray as it reminded me of a podcast that ended up discussing smoking over in Japan, its aparrently perfectly fine still in indoor social spaces like we see them in the cafe or restaurant, but heavily stigmatized or frowned upon outside. Presumably this has to do with the flicking the ash and throwing away the butts, as they really hate littering, so her portable pocket ashtray solves that.

Joey Faria

I hope you get better and have a perfect surgery Alicia! I thought ep 5 and 6 were animated well... Ep 7 blew all of my expectations out the water and is now my favorite. It really feels like were slowly riding a rollercoaster regarding Denji's chainsaw powers and we are about reach the edge and learn about Chainsaws true history. The ending that had the retro Crtv with the Jrpg that transitioned into the 90s hand drawn anime style. The aesthetic brought out so much nostalgia and the old school fan service shots might be the reason why this ending is my favorite. Also does anyone else love the ED song that played? I felt like it paired the retro style perfectly.

Erich Baumann

I have a theory, hear me out. Remember how Denji sold a nut? What if Pochita grew him back a demon nut? When he turns chainsaw man, that nut activates, pumping him with a crazy amount of demon testosterone, increasing his strength, his violence, and his crazy lust levels. Even when he turns chainsaw off, some of that is still swimming around in his blood, which is why he's just always horny. Here's my question, if Denji made a baby, would it be human or demon? 😈

NKT2112

do anyone think Himeno´s master look like Mads Mikkelsen

Vincent

OG Evangelion is quite the trip, never watched the remake or movie though. I would say it is worth the watch. Evangelion is a part of anime history and will leave you with a lot of philosophical questions. It as an amazing OP (for the time) and gave me a roller coaster of emotions, Its is definitely a piece to watch.

Fushi has the exact same IQ as me. I KNEW I WAS STUPID!
