They have to localize the names of things to avoid copyright. So while his voice says Santana, the captioning says Sanviento.

Donobang is supposed to be Donovan, though this is one case where I don't really see the need to change the name to dodge copyright, it's just a name. Donovan Phillips Leitch is an artist who went by just Donovan and was decently big in the 60's. Scottish man, friends with the Beatles and he's played with the boys who would go on to form Led Zeppelin. Yes, Pillar Guy is Santana, like the one and only Carlos Santana. The subtitles are like that on purpose to dodge potential rights issues. It kinda sucks but it is what it is. Since you're watching in Japanese you can still hear what the characters say. Oh hey, you can see a star on Joseph's shoulder in the end! That's not there in the manga but remember it, it's gonna be important later!

Youre right, the names used are usually localized to stave of copyright infringement. Sometimes it’s little changes to one or more letters (Straits = Straizo) but sometimes it’s an entirely new name, So Santana became Sanviento.
