I'm still midway the video, just listening to the anime yall are thinking about watching. I'm a huge Gintama fan and I'd say it's my favorite anime, BUT it is hundreds of episodes and it's certainly not for everyone, not sure how the OPs will come across if you haven't seen the show either (they're godlike though). It's also one of those shows that gets better as it goes, first 20 or so eps IMO are still good but it has a lot of characters to introduce and world to build so it takes a bit to get going for real. I think the humor would be up your alley though.

You should definitely watch A Silent Voice if you haven't. I've seen both Silent Voice and Angel Beats, and the writing, animation, and the sadness are all better in comparison. I hope (if Ant gets around to it) Ant'll enjoy it cause it's probably my favorite anime movie.

Yeah, Mark was probably an ok dude but his death flags were fucking hilarious. "I'm getting married next month" like bruh. One Piece, huh? Whenever I think about watching One Piece I look at the number of episodes and I get cold feet. I remember a friend telling me he watched the show in 2 times speed to watch it faster like a fucking psycho. Kill la Kill is a cool show. It's unrelentingly fucking horny which you'll have to decide for yourself if it's a good or a bad thing. It's also pretty damn stupid but in like a self aware way, like the show indulges in its own stupid shit. I love Evangelion, it's a very important show to me. I would love to rewatch it with you but I'm also a little worried about you Alicia, there are some precious babies in Evangelion who go through some very hard times. It's really, really good though. Did Ant say Berserk? Berserk is fantastic, absolute masterpiece. The manga that is, there are a few attempts to adapt it with varying success. The '97 anime and the 2012-2013 movie trilogy cover the same arc of the manga but the movies leave some out. I've seen a fan edit that splice the two together though I'm not sure where to find it now. Both are pretty good but if you had to choose I'd say the '97 anime just because it has a certain charm to it that's hard to put into words, also there's more of it. The 2016 anime picks up where the previous ones left off but it's also... not that great? I think? I didn't really give it a chance beyond the first episode to be honest but I mostly hear negative things and both the poor animation and bad sound design have been meme'd on to death. I don't know. Maybe it is that bad and maybe it's fine. Right, Jojo's. Yeah, those balls are actually called clackers and they were relatively popular as toys in the late 60's-early 70's. According to wikipedia they were taken off market in the USA and Canada because kids got injured playing them because they were actually pretty heavy and kids were wailing them around like medieval flails. Also, apparently in Egypt they made a comeback in 2017 and were referred to as "Sisi's balls" in refeerence to Presiden Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and they had a big police raid where 41 clacker sellers were arrested and 1400 of these things confiscated because the government didn't like people making fun of the president's balls. This show started in 2012. Nice call on the dynamite eating!

Man there was alot of stuff in this vid lmao First Kill la kill is so amazing! And it's short so it'll be easy to get through it. It was the first Trigger animation I saw who are the ones who did Cyberpunk Edgerunners! When you start Love is War back up youll start seeing all the jojo references lol and dio voices Miyukis father. It's crazy to hear him in any role that isn't dio! If I could also recommend a anime it would be golden kamuy. Its wholesome, sad, very violent, very funny and lots of shirtless buff dudes throughout the series! It's perfect!

Alicia and Ant have ascended! If you start One Piece, dont' worry too much about catching up too quickly. With One Piece, it really is abut the journey, not the destination. Once one catches up, they desire there was more to watch, so simply watch it at your own pace and enjoy the moment without thinking about the future!

ALICIA SEES FUTURE BALLS Also also, Kill la Kill VERY recommended and I would majorly recommend Arcane, its the absolute best 3D animated series I've ever seen. Its based on the League of Legends universe but you don't need to have played the games or know anything about them to watch it, it pretty much only shares a universe and stands on its own from the game.
