I've dropped everything else I was doing to watch this. I've been waiting ages to see this. *vibrates with excitement*

If you really love this lesbian engagement through dueling plot, you should watch "Revolutionary Girl Utena," a classic anime from the late 90s that does the exact same thing, except with fencing. That's probably not a coincidence, since the main writer worked on the novelizations of Utena. Also Utena's just generally fantastic, especially aesthetically.

Extremely happy you were able to see this after Avatar not being a happy show for that last react

thanks for uploading! you keep missing stuff when you look at the camera instead of the screen though. D: Or maybe you aren't? It's hard to tell with your vtuber avatar. It keeps looking like you're turning away to talk to the camera. Anyway, I just want to make sure you don't miss anything. A lot of reactors seem to have trouble with this.

Youmu Senju

Also, how did you think she was going to "Test run" Suletta's gundam? She hijacked it without permission. XD

Paul32

Thank you for your reaction :)

Miorine is very much an impulsive kind of person that tends to act first and then figured out an actual plan later, lol. She gets better, but she is a bit of a hot head to go with to suletta.

Sander

Really enjoyed the reaction. It has been a while since the Prologue reaction so I understand why Alicia seemingly didn’t recognize Miorine’s dad. Especially since he has aged quite a bit. Can’t wait till Alicia recognizes him.

Cat Punch Man

I recommend watching the music video that plays at the end of the episode again. The official full 3 mins mv is on youtube and lyrics go hard on this one(sadly no official eng sub 😓). I love the song because the lyrics are all about not solely living for other people's expectations and finding a way to love oneself.

Tachyon Fast

Damn you needed an anime W and you fucking got it.

Soof the Sentret

Bob is one of my favorite characters. He gets humbled SO fast lmao

Donkichu

You're right on not every mobile suit being a Gundam, and in this anime it's a specific kind of technology that determines whether a mobile suit is a Gundam or not. Safest bet is to wait until a suit is stated to be one or look for red glowy lines. Loving your reactions!

Cryptic

I was eager to see this. I knew it'd be in your strike zone. Baby drama into adorable yet resolved disaster lesbian (with nice animation).

:) being an old fan growing up with Wing on Toonami I have been so happy with Witch. Gundam is saved!

The definition of a Gundam changes from series to series. In this one, what makes it a mobile suit a Gundam is kind of a key part of the plot, so we'll just let you figure it out.

Like I promised in the comments . WIth the New Year i joint Patreon :)

My only complaint so far is that the highly detailed artstyle does visibly slow down the actual animation. The mobile suits move really slowly and jankily one moment, then move like they weigh nothing in the next. That's a common problem with anime, I know, but I feel it still bears mentioning. That, and the fact that even though her speech was about experience and pride, she didn't even fight the guy as much as she did stand around and let her lasers do all the work for her. They can animate a juicy tomato being bitten into, but not the robots the series is named after fighting for more than three moves?

GormleyPeach

Finally watching! Been meaning to watch this anime so why not watch it along with yall! I think it's so funny that they use 2 tropes and find a why to not make them seem so ridiculous, 1st being the op transfer student and 2nd have the main character get engaged on episode 1! Lol
