Some people just don't understand that you don't make those types of jokes unless you know the person well, and even then the timing and mood has to be just right. You can't just fire off a dark humor comment into the void, not knowing what sort of state the person is in at the other end. It's just messed up and horrifically inconsiderate.

Man, Polnareff might be comic relief a lot of the time but the pain he carries, oh man. Cameo is a reference to the band. In the tarot, Judgement is the penultimate card of the Major Arcana, jufgement before receiving the World. It is usually depicted with a scene modeled after the Final Judgement in Christianity, with an angel blowing the horn at the end of days. The card represents judgement, evaluation, awakening, renewal as well as forgiveness and absolution. Very interesting card and thematically on point for this episode.

Honestly, I can’t blame Polnareff or any other Crusader for swinging right off the bat. If I were them, at that point in their journey, I’d assume anything weird is an enemy Stand and start swinging on sight.

I love fan built Stand powers for people. One of my favorites for a youtuber was "Crazy Talk (クレイジー・トーク Kureiji Tōkku) is Pat's stand. It can trigger whenever Pat states anything with certainty, almost immediately causing that thing to retroactively no longer be true"

I think for me Polnareff is my favorite character in part 3, his mix of comic relief, badass moments and the pain he carries with him made him such a compelling character for me.

Oh btw, another reference even though it was probably already said: Sherry's name comes from a song from Michel Polnareff (the singer Polnareff's name comes from) called "Tout, tout pour ma chérie". Chérie in French means "darling".

All hamon masters would have hermit purple as a stand, the creator has said that hamon is a stepping stone to stands and that if part 2 joseph saw a stand user he would be able to see the hazy outline of a stand (also you can see dio use jonathans stand in episode 3 to get a picture of the crusaders)
