Ado Bleuler

That wolf party is one of Oda's favorite scenes he's drawn in One Piece and is what made him draw this arc!

and finally the (rap) god has descended to bask us all in his glorious presence. as you might have noticed, oda has a habit of basing certain characters on real life people. the most obvious examples so far are jango, the hypnotist from usopp's village, who was clearly partially inspired by michael jackson, and sanji, who's based on mr pink, steve buscemi's role in reservoir dogs. and now here we have probably the most mememed on character, at least in the west, our dear old friend eneru, who is very clearly based on eminem.

The song in the background of the campfire dance is called Oretachi wa, Family! and is sung by the crew.

The ship rebuilding will either be explained later or never be explained depending on how you decide to watch the series

Don't think I didn't see the subliminal frame of beach episode Alicia! Also Nami, "don't you know, you never split the party!"

I think the campfire party is one of my favorite moments because its just one of the most quintessential One Piece moments. They are stranded in a strange place while being on a grand adventure. So they just start cooking, befriending the local wildlife and have a party loud enough to wake up God. With everyone getting into it, even Nami who at first tries to act as if she is above the whole thing, while Robin watches slightly baffled by the whole affair. I just think its just a really good moment to summarize the feel of the show and the crew. I first read this part in the manga more than a decade ago, and I still remember just smiling at the double page spread of them dancing around the fire.

so damn ever since we became the RATS RATS WE ARE THE RATS, said rats have been dying left and right and just now in this episode zoro had two rats in his hand which sanji was gonna cook lol

btw the way Eneru says "i am god" in Japanese (ware ga kami nari) kaminari can also be translated to "thunder"

AHHH!!!! I love hearing about little kids!!! When she was a baby, I taught my cousin different words by doing the thing! I would say 'spinning' as we both spun in circles, then she would laugh and flop on the floor (Padded with pillows I know better!!) But we would stare at the ceiling as her eyes would keep moving and I would lie next to her like 'Ooof....Dizzy...." She surprised me one day saying "I like spinning, I no like dizzy." I have never related more to that sweet angel than in that moment. XD
