I really love how well they do the animation for the music, and it only gets better, they do so many small things to make it authentic.

FoobyDude

the show really takes off after this episode, can't wait for the rest

Love this show, and this binge is what I needed to power through my overnight shift at the end of a week full of bad sleep decisions. 4-5 hours a night 4 days in a row was a bad plan, mistakes were made.

The musc performance is amaaazing! Pretty sure they filmed musicians playing the songs and animated based on that footage. Not like rotoscoped or anything but the movements are so accurate and purposeful that I can't imagine it being done without a real life reference. Oh, and there is an album you can buy of Kessoku Band songs, including the opening and endings, the songs they perform in the show and a handful of tracks that weren't even used in the show. I really recommend checking it out AFTER finishing the show!

You need to watch "Kids on the Slope." Another music anime done right. And by right I mean dead on Jazz performance. The problem is that I don't think anyone is streaming it in the west any more so it is hard to find but if nothing else look up some clips of the playing. youtube v=jRHJntLYMh0

Loving this content so much!!! :D Didn't know you were a musician too before this, would love to see you react to some other music animes in the future. My personal favorites are Beck/Mongolian Chop Squad (rock band, dub if you want to get emotional during the songs, sub if you want to have a laugh xD), Kimi no Oto Tomare (Instrument-Koto), and (My #1!, I think you would love it) These Snow White Notes (Instrument-Tsugaru Shamisen)

If you like Bocchi's reactions is recommend to watch Nichijou one day. It's filled to the brim with stuff like that.

loving your Bocchi reactions. for another excellent band/music anime I recommend Given - 11 eps (and you will cry if you watch it). it's got this one song that is just *chefs kiss*

2 days late but I’m finally caught up on Bocchi reactions. I used to make fun of people from the US as being the one country in the world who would consistently mispronounce “Bocchi” (making the first syllable rhyme with “Coat” when it should rhyme with “Cot”). But now it seems this habit has spread to Canada and I’m starting to worry!
