Lazy Swordsman

My single favourite part of the whole show. Marcoh isn't a badass combat Alchemist like most of the Alchemists in the show - he's just a researcher who got pulled into horrific duties as a State Alchemist, deserted and tried to do what he could to help people while in hiding. Despite no combat abilities he was able to apply the knowledge he despised so much to take down one of the most dangerous enemies Humanity has simply through experience and skill at manipulating the Philosopher Stones. Favourite moment for me and one of my favourite characters alongside Alexander Louis Armstrong who uses the Armstrong Alchemy passed down his family for generations!

If I remember correctly, May and Al are only a year or two apart in age; May's growth was stunted due to sickness at an early age, which is why she related to Shao Mei and adopted her, and gives the impression that she's younger than she is. She uses it to her advantage in the Emperor's court to cause others to underestimate her. Recall that at this point, however, that AL is 14, which makes May 13 or 12, so it's still creepy to find her attractive, and I would like to search your hard drives, freaks.

Last Scene: Al: DAD!? Van: My old armor?

Bradley chose his wife because she slapped him when they first met. She told the Elrics this a while back, saying he asked her out not long after.

One of best things about Rose is that they changed her horrible fate from the original anime.
