I knew when you started this show Izumi's story would resonate with you, just remember, despite everything she went through she does have two bratty sons, even if she doesn't call them as such.

I haven´t seen this version of the subs, but I think it is nice that the Central soldiers all have names in them. What I have kinda always loved about Buccaneer stabbing through Fu, is that it is an incredibly brutal thing to do, but also a way to make sure Fu´s sacrifices weren´t in vain. Which is what the Briggs way is all about. They talk about how it is survival of the fittest and how prepared they are to die. Which are both true, but they also hold a strong devotion to their comrades. Such as when Olivia gives her men extra time to find the missing scouts. So I think that for Buccaneer, his action was done just as much to make sure Fu´s final act got the honor he thought it deserved, as well as taking a stab at wounding their enemy. Finally, Alicias comment on the Girl Boss/Muscle Bro squad, reminded me of Arakawas (the author) quote on her design philosophy for her characters. Truly one for the ages “Men should be buff! Women should be vavoom!”

Awesome episode but if there is one trope I absolutely despise, It's when the characters have plenty of opportunity to do something to stop the bad guy, but just stand there instead because plot.

Alicia i am sorry if this is too personal or if you already know this but If the possibility of miscarriage is high then make sure to save some eggs. You get can them frozen and have surrogates to help you with the whole incubation thing... IT costs alot but hey it is an option in case you ever are forced to remove your uterus... That why you have the possibility of raising your own biological kids. I personally see no difference between adopting or having your own kid. But that is just me maybe as a man i cant understand what it means for a woman to carry a child. At the end of the day it is the love that counts. For example i remember a famous case of "Celeste Beard" about twin girls who helped convict their biological mother of killing their stepfather. They called him DAD and they used the name for their mom... It is bitter sweet because a decent man died but they spend a week in the hospital with him hoping he survives the shotgun he was hit with. So he died knowing he was loved by people who didn't have to do it BY DEFAULT. That man died knowing he was THEIR FATHER and that is what matters... Sorry for this ranting again...
