My theory is that Lilith made a deal with heaven to not interfere, since she was the one leading the charge of rebelling against heaven, in order for the exterminators to not go all out, or for some other reason. That deal probably involves her being in heaven so she doesn't rile people up again even without trying. I can't believe that Lilith is as bad as they are setting her up to be.

I'll be honest. When Sir Pentious died, I was really disappointed. I thought, "That's how they kill someone? They basically make it a joke?" However, when he showed up in Heaven, I was instantly hyped about him again. I still wish Adam didn't just poof him and his balloon from existence, but they saved it with that reveal.

Who wants to make season 2 guesses? My guess is that Sera will hide Sir Pentious and the fact he redeem himself, to oppose Hazbin Hotel and it working. Lilith and Alastair definitely made a deal, and Charlie is the key to breaking it, and setting him free. Heaven is coming at full force next time, and I hope the overlords join forces to stop them.

Something I kinda realized on the rewatch with lucifer is that the reason he was cast into hell and only shown evil people was to basically keep him depressed and unwilling. But charlie showed him people who changed, who could do better and do good, and for once in so very very long he finally got to see good! And that made all the difference.

Lilith’s goals at present are a little hard to decipher, but based on how in the Story of Hell segment from Ep 01 Lilith was the one who encouraged the sinners to develop and is implied to have been encouraging an uprising, I think she’s out for revenge on Heaven (Adam’s death was just one checkbox). I think she’s got pieces in motion on both side of the conflict and I see two possible reasons for her presence in Heaven. One being that she agreed to be in Heaven as part of some deal to spare Charlie or limit the Extermination somehow, and the other possibly is that she already had her plans in motion and in Heaven’s custody she has the perfect alibi and can feign innocence. BUT that’s just my half-baked theory based on my personal impressions of the events of Season 1. Can’t wait for Season 2 to see if I was even remotely right,

you know, i knew they exorcists were wearing masks, but for some reason it never registered with me that adam was too. maybe because his is so expressive compared to everyone else and accurately depicts his facial features at any given time. also didn't expect him to be quite that powerful, but i guess it makes sense, seeing as he isn't just the leader of the exorcists, but also the oldest soul in all of the afterlifes. i suppose even someone who isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer like him is bound to have gathered some power in all that time. as for charlie, while i question her particular choice in combat outfit, seeing her go full demon mode was awesome. i really like the look, complete with demon horns, a tail and of course a pitchfork. now she only needs to learn how to wield the power she tapped into here all the time. finally as for lilith; i feel like she's gonna turn out to be a red herring. oh sure, everyone's betting on her being connected to alistor, because they were both gone for 7 years, which seems to be an obvious connection between the two, and yet.... i feel (or maybe just hope) that there's still more to it. it's just seems too simple and too obvious an answer, you know?

Alastor said "unclip my wings" so it's just a turnaround of "clipped wings" as in having your freedom taking away. Who knows who he's contracted to. Could be Lilith, if Eve's around it could be her. There was another character called Roo. Roo (which I've heard some fans say comes from The Root of all Evil) - we don't really know much about her except her artwork shows her being almost lovecraftian demonic looking and Viz had planned for her to be a main villian I believe although this all predates the Amazon series. If Roo is the embodiment of evil, maybe created from Original Sin and the eating of the Apple, she may even be Eve or related to Eve since she hasn't come up yet. Perhaps this looming evil is what Alastor made a deal with - maybe that's how a new mortal soul in Hell was able to overcome established Overlords the way the Radio Demon did. Buutttt we don't know and won't know probably for years (presuming the show goes on) if she isn't introduced in Season 2. As for both Vaggie and Charlie not letting Adam and Lute be killed - it may be a tactical mistake but both where helpless/defeated at that point and their hotel is all about redemption. The rest of the Angels were killed in self-defence so no sin there. I can't wait to see Pen and Em together now that redemption has been proven. What I do wonder is how Sera will react with Adam dead, the exorcists defeated and faced with the undeniable truth that Charlie was right. I get the feeling she knows something more than has been revealed and perhaps this may lead to a greater threat whether from Sera or from whatever she may be afraid of. Regardless sad that it's already over but after the wait we'll have Season 2! Thanks for reacting to all of these S-Tier reactions as usual!

I can't help but feel bad for Adam, he was an ass sure, but he was the first man made to rule an eternal paradise, and his first wife dumps him for Lucifer, then Lilith and Lucifer tempt his second wife Eve, creating sin and destroying the paradise for everyone, and in the end he died with a smile on his face because he saw Lute cared about him. Hope he can get a chance at redemption.

what i love of the finale is that "redemption" is not controlled by the angels, and the moment Hell knows about it, it will be chaos on heaven It also mean that angels can get corrupted and fall, which is their worst fear and the reason they hide it
