I, who lives in Canada, can attest that he really underestimated the Canadian winter cold. XD

You know it's kind of weird given that most people seem to have this perception that Canada is practically a year-long winter wonderland.

What I meant was that often people in the US seem to think it's always snowing in Canada. So, it's weird that Jack thought that he could take the cold up there.
