Feeling down on his luck and stuck in a rut, thirty-five-year-old Noah decided to use up all his sick days and travel to Japan in search of fulfilment and purpose. All he finds are tourist traps and a growing sense of dissatisfaction. That is, until he stumbled upon a strange, abandoned shrine and the beautiful maiden who works there. After confiding in her, the woman reveals herself to be a kitsune and, wanting to help, transforms Noah into one as well, a female one to boot! Now he must navigate the yokai world, learn to use his magic and find love and purpose along the way.
