I half expected Lacey to start gaslighting her new girlfriend - seeing as how reality apparently shifted, it wouldn't be too strange for her not to remember who her gf used to be. That probably would have made the story feel a fair bit darker, though, so I won't complain about the lack (regardless of whether I would have maybe kinda found it hot :P ) An enjoyable story, I'd say - I especially appreciated the shift to she/her at the very end, as she fully accepted her new life. Though the fact that there's no sapphic tags on this work makes me think I might wanna take another look through the archive and try to find other stories that are gayer than I realized...
