It will work out and you will be better off. You and your crew do great things. The Charities you have chosen have been rewarded because of your hard work and dedication to the channel. E TX Rick

Cap'n, thanks for the in depth conversation! My vote is keep the name "Fish of Fortune". A new boat & motor would be awesome, especially if it's more comfy for the point gals. I completely agree w/ your picks for Top Moments. I edit videos of our R/C club's flights and gatherings, and your editing skills are Off the Charts! Your Halloween video this year was incredible. This year, 2024, was your best year ever, and 2025 is destined to top that! Special thanks to Raven & Daniel & YOU for making HLC the best channel on the Internet!!!

ChuckH

Indeed it was a great season. Thanks Michael and Daniel for all the work you put in on the water and behind the scene. To Raven and the point ladies, great work and thanks! Thanks for everyone that makes this show possible. Time to R&R!!

Steakfrie

I really appreciated this 'garage chat'. Very informative while showing creative thoughts in the works. Congrats to all the winners. Congrats to you Capt for being successful enough to make it a full-time job and popular enough to get noticed by the original Crypt Keeper. Popular enough to get a marine equipment sponsor? That would be very cool. Rookie of the year award in 2025? Fish of Fortune is a solid name. Maybe the differential in winner $'s is a bonus for every 10 pounds over? 'Too hot for Youtube' outtakes? The entire HLC crew and participants should be proud of a stellar year. Thank you for all your hard work.

Tom Weaver

Congratulations to all the winners of one of the best seasons of HLC. Thanks to all the lovely ladies that fished their hearts out. Thanks to you Michael and Silent Dan for putting on such a entertaining show. And last but not least, thanks to the beautiful Raven for all her hard work. See you all next year. Take care all.

Another great year and thanks to the HLC family for all you do. Looking forward to next year and all the possibilities changes. I feel like each year has progressively gotten better so with more time I’m sure 2025 will continue the trend. I like changing things up in the game, but Fish of Fortune is hard to beat. Once again shoutout to everyone and thank you!!

thora

can't wait till next year this year was really good thank all the girls for their hard work

Richard

Good year and glad to know you're thinking and planning new ideas to make it even more interesting. Seems a lot of others don't put in the effort to keep their videos interesting. Will keep my membership active through out the year and will look forward to next season. 👍👌

mike williams

Thank you HLC! You are good for the soul and for a good laugh!!

Kwinn E Kastrosky

I really enjoy the channel. It gets better every year. Ordered the calendar a couple days ago. Thank you.

ralph

Congratulations on your job decision. I hope the cane is a prop and you didn't hurt something badly and need it to walk. For the outboard skeg, have you looked into "Mac's Prop Savers Inc. River Runner"? They make a couple different models, might help with those logs in the river. Good luck with your boat and motor search. Thanks for all the entertainment and have a great winter. Take care.

Buddy David

Thanks Mike and crew, for a great year!!!! Lots of fun

Mark Duncan

Another excellent season. I am a long time fan/follower and I never get bored. I have a suggestion for Fish of Fortune. Keep the name, it's become a brand. Guess the weight exactly...$10/lb. 10/pounder $100 bucks, 50 pounder $500 bucks, etc

Don Mears

Michael, Daniel and Point People, thank you for the time and effort you spend on making these fun videos. I've always enjoyed starting my Saturday morning watching 👀 your newest creation. At this time I would like to extend a Joyful Holiday season to everyone involved with making your videos.

Elvegreen

Eddie V - Very good season well done, everything was first class. The ladies were fun and great lookin. looking forward to next season.

Robert D. Dogoli

Hi Mike, I am one of the quiet ones you mentioned. I love your videos and look forward to all of them. I look every day for your videos just in case you slip one in on me. lol I'm 75 years old and just live in the bootheel of Missouri in the little town of Senath just 19 miles from the Arkansas line. I might start commenting more now that I have come out and introduced myself. Thank you and your girls again for your great fishing and loveable ladies.

hooklinechill

I haven't heard of that one. But I'm in the market and might take a look.

Michael Wright

Thank you for a good year and all! Just got my first calendar coming in the mail, and to all the pretty gals that take the point, thank you, too! Your all wonderful and do a great job 👏 Hopefully, the channel continues to grow and stay successful. Special mention to Tara, Mikey and Ashley and her sister Jada! JoAnna too! Your true blue and make what Michael does come alive for me! The other girls just haven’t been on as long! Sincerely your long time fan, Mike W

todd irwin

Great year ! Great videos. Love your channel love all the ladies. They all bring their own touch the channel. Can't wait till next year.

WaKule

2024 has been a great ride team HLC. Thanks so much for a great season. All of the effort into creating the "extra" content is appreciated as well as enjoyed. Michael, congrats on your decision to try your hand at making this your primary source of income. I truly hope it works out as I feel you have a real talent for it. Keep your support team as they are a gift and can be invaluable as I'm sure you're aware. Just thought, perhaps come up with a way to add an extra tier or two? I tried to "up my ante" but found no higher tier level so I just bumped the amount. Others may be more inclined to do so as well if they felt they were getting something extra. Again, just a suggestion. Thanks again HLC! Wayne

Stephen Mixell

Michael you are really a joy to watch no bs you are great with the Ladies on the show. I do want to say that Cletus should get a doggie Oscar for his entertainment value. Looking forward to the outtakes and whatever you may offer through the upcoming months. Do want to ask lastly will silent Dan ever talk again and congratulate him on his fishing win. Best wishes to all the great people on and behind the show. Until next time take care. 👍👍👍👍👍 👍

Mike Keel

John Hardaway

Love your show. Can't wait until spring. I get to Bowling Green a couple of times a month to visit my daughter and her family. Maybe we will run into each other sometime.

ChuckH

i like Cash for Cats....or Captain's Cash for Cats!.....catchy!

mtgrizzly52

Micheal, please don't change the name please. Just for the record I love this program and would really hate to see a lot of wholesale changes. Thank you and the lovely ladies for a tremendous 2024 season. Rick - Northwest Montana

Roger P Merrill

The not new, but improved, Fish of Fortune

Norm Gray

I have been thinking about this for a while, and the Fish of fortune should be called " sit on my face, and I'll guess your weight"! Now hear me out. Just get a picture of your face, paste it to the scales, and the point person will "sit" the fish on it! Joanna's bathing suit made me think of it! Great season Michael, looking forward to the new season!

Carl N

The New Fish of Fortune Game

Mike Kubican

I'd like the fish of fortune name to stick around. Enjoy your time off and rejuvenate. Again, thanks for the channel and the work you put in for yourself and us. I'm glad to hear you plan on sticking around for a while because I look forward to the videos, antics and of course the people. Take care.....

Dadskahkys

I always miss you guys over the winter! I'm already starting to "Jones" for your weekly videos! I love what you been doing over the years. You've really found a niche and I'm so grateful. Have a great winter. Thanks to you, the awesome ladies, Daniel, Raven, and Cletus!! Well done!!

Bruce Eldridge

Never commented before, been a patreon member for some time. Don't expect or want perfection, can't relate to it. Very much enjoy what Mike and his inner circle come up with. I would enjoy a reunion show with Nina. Best wishes from a fan in South Dakota

Steve Brandon

This year was awesome. Don’t try to change too much real quick. Give yourself a break and let it come naturally. You have built a show that fishermen enjoy. We all love the girls for their contributions and the fact that they all are beautiful ladies doesn’t hurt. I would use input from the ladies in making choices for the coming season. Give yourself a rest and wow us next season. Thank u

Martin.

This was a very good year,i think everyone had fun. I think you should keep the name of the game and just change the rules. Re changing the boat , have you looked a using a jet boat? There would be no moving parts underwater and nothing to get caught up.Best wishes to everyone from Cambridge UK.

Greg Moore

Cap'n Michael - Thanks for all the work you put in to keep us entertained. I know you put in a lot of work and hours that none of us can even begin to fathom... That was in 2023. We did a big giveaway that year to draw point people in.

Goose hunter

i think you all did an excellent job on the film it was awesome in my opinion

Jeff Phillips

Michael, I know everyone loves your content but I think it would be interesting to do a video of you an a point person baiting up the lines. PS I miss the high water videos when you run short lines back up in the creeks.
