My Sweetie asked me when I was going to mow the yard. Here in N. Florida, we are catching 70+s for the highs now. I told her that in Florida, we do not mow until the first day of spring. Later that day, my dang neighbor mowed his yard. Damn him, I now have to mow this weekend, says my Sweetie Pie. Bass are in a feeding frenzy here in our lake. They are biting like wildfire on big shiners. I'll be mowing and weed whacking all weekend.

I always enjoy your updates, Cap'n! Glad you were able to get full control of the property, that makes a huge difference when making decisions. Looks like things are getting back to normal and you're ready for a great season in '25. Can't wait to see the new motor on the new boat ... you're gonna be in hawg heaven! Kudos to the HLC team and all the points, too! Raven promised us she's coming down for a trip this year .... we're holding you to your word.

Michael, Have you tried asking Google the question about the oil filter on the ride on mower. When I was suspected of being poisoned from a foreign substance, the cops rang me about a week later and said I would be ok , I first told them I figured that because it was a week later but questioned why the hospital had not told me and asked how they knew. The first Class Constable replied a little hesitantly, We "google the details of object found".

It doesn't have an oil filter. You just change the oil every year or two. Be sure to only use no alcohol gas in it and your outboard. Dead vine!

It's hard to say. Nearest gage is about 15 miles up river. It rose about 30 feet above normal. But the river is much bigger here so I'd say half that. Just a guess.

I did google it. No solid answer. I bought the standard filter just in case. Returned it today.

Thanks for the update Michael. I was 63 degrees today here in Central Illinois. Yup, feels like spring. Forecast for Monday is light snow possible. 😡 Things are lookin' pretty good. It will be a great season. Take care and be safe out there. 😉

The oil filter on a Briggs and Stratton mower engine should be on the opposite side to the drain tube.

WOW thank you sooo much for the update, made my day! I was wondering what kind of weather you had since in NM we are in the mid 70s. So I got some stuff to send you and the girls but gonna wait till the mail Mondays resume to send them. BUT I got something for miss Tera that will be going out soon. Hope to get her reaction when she opens it, I think she will like it (hope) So when you get a package from Kammo make sure you are filming!! I'm sure I'm not the only one but I check for updates every day and am getting antsy for spring and new lines! Waiting for the next update.. Take care HLC.

Michael on another aspect, I was viewing a UTUBE video which came out appoximately 7 days ago which included a 5 to 6 second clip which was a straight steal from a HLC video featuring Johanna in her Grey and Pink bikini running one of your trot lines. Video included the Name Hook Line and Chill (white Plague at the bow of the boat so no doubt it was stolen from your video.
