Poe wrote on both. They both have inky quills. It is the question The Mad Hater asked throughout the book and films. It has no answer because The Mad Hater was MAD from Mercury poisoning so he would ask non sensical questions. People kept asking Carol for the answer, since none was given in the book and of course people didn't like that it was an unanswerable question they made up their own answers. Those are 2 of the most popular. Eventually Carol did come up with one, "They both produce notes and they have legs." I know I'm a nerd 🤓 I really enjoyed the episode and hope you can make it back next year.
