Brrrrr ... 40's on the water is still pretty chilly! Thank you and Dan for braving the cold to bring us some entertainment! Hope that Mikey has good weather when y'all check the lines and we are looking forward to seeing how y'all do!

Winter fishing results should be interesting. Thanks for sharing the effort regardless of outcome. Bon fire - Spring horror short of witches celebrating or blessing a new season? Is the Capt at all jealous of Silent Dan's ponytail?

James Brown

Thanks Michael and Silent Dan. Bringing on some fish video s

Really enjoyed the video! Thanks for posting it.

I could surely use a Silent Dan here on our Lake in North Florida. The Largemouth bite all year long on 4-to-8-inch shiners. I constantly have to drain rainwater out of the boat and vacuum out leaves and such and I sure could use the help. Dan, if you get to run another trot line on your own, go for broke and use 10 or 12 inch cut bait and go for those big boys. We know there in that Green River!!!!! Try at least one line with a monster hunk of bait on it. I'll donate a buck a pound for every big cat you catch over 45 pounds using a monster bait. In fact, maybe every trot line should have at least one monster bait rig. The Point Girls would get a tremendous thrill bringing in a giant 100 pound catfish or two.

Dedicating a hook for a huge piece of bait does sound like something I could incorporate. One per line.

You're right. The fire could be more than just a fire. Ill think on it. And yes Dan has a forrest of hair compared to my desert lol. But I've accepted it long ago. Leaning into it as well

Michael, if you catch any eels. I would love to have some. They are so good to eat.
