The boat to the right is the original HLC ride. Now owned by Daniel who helps out a ton. My dad named it "the boat with no name." The boat to the left is Dorothy. It came from Kansas and has been very reliable with just enough room. I always laugh when I think of all the stuff we've done with them. They may be old and beat up but I wouldn't want it any other way. It's a good day to check some lines.

Working boats aren't pretty but they can get the job done! Keep up the great work Michael, and the ladies!!

Mike, Can I have permission to name my 17-foot Sea Nymph "Hook Line & Chill"?

You folks in Kentucky sure are getting shit on by Mother Nature. Michael, since you are in a conservation water quality field, would you explain to us out of stater’s why the Green river is green at normal pool? It’s a tribute to modern day boat manufacturing, that their products can be handed down through the generations..

Barry Combs

No need to do any Dick swinging here... I'm sure it does the job just fine.

Carry on HLC and give Dorothy a pat on her Stern side. As always enjoyed the latest video with Kenzie.

They're like sisters, floating on Mother Green River.

I work a second job for a city at a gun range and on Saturdays I've always enjoyed getting up a half hour early to watch one of your videos! It means a lot to me, and you have helped me in more ways that you know. I also have an interest in guns and other things and have noticed how fast defunding has happened and I guess when you base your income or charity on another company you are held by changing rules of that company. I dumped Facebook and started an Instagramn profile so that I could follow links from other people. I posted one video of me at work at my day job and poof I'm forever locked off! Fuck Social Media!

My old musky fishing buddy from Bowling Green (rest in peace) had a 16' AlumaCraft boat. We ran countless miles up & down the Green River and fish many hours in that old boat.

It doesn’t have to be new to be good

I remember those days, little boat with a loud engine.

Gotta love a good, trusty boat. We still have good one in my family, a 1979 18’ Misty River aluminum with 90 Merc. My dad made a trade with my friend Linda’s dad for his 16’er + cash in about ‘97 or ‘98. We used it for about 15 years and my uncle bought it and it’s still going going strong at his cottage up on the Ottawa River still using the original motor.

So glad you are back and on Patreon. I start my Saturday's watching HLC. Done so since the early YouTube days. Thanks for continuing the adventure. I appreciate the work that goes on behind the scenes to bring us great programming.

Those flat bottoms have seen a lot of action. A brand new boat can’t say that (:

I also remember dates at the Resort in Northern Minnesota, the first time I brought my boat up and the fire that insued, yes, gromets around the hot wires count! The beers, we were young and stupid and the beers were flowing, I was carrying 8 30 packs of Strohs 30pack weekenders and tripped. Life was funny when we were in our 20s

I have owned several boats over the years... my favorite was a 14' Gregor, I had many happy hours of solitude in that little boat... also taught the grand kids how to fish from it... hew knew that tangled lines and children sleeping in the bow could create such happy memories...

It's not actually green most of the time. And the name comes from a revolutionary generals last name.
