Ashley and I out on the Green River.  Water is still up a little bit but fishable.  We have 40 hooks in the water with some cut bait and live bait on the hooks.  The river collects it's tax on day one.

Was that a $100.00 note that flew out of your shirt pocket at approx. 6.00

Robert Dunbar

Michael I have been watching some Vietnamese ladies running trot lines for catfish on the Cai river in Vietnam. Their trot lines are 250 metres long and have a hook every 5 metres so 50 hooks in total. The interesting thing is that the only bait they use is an inch to inch and a half piece of a bananas on a large hook. They usually catch between 10 and 15 fish each time some as large as 10 pounds.

Robert Dunbar

Pressed the wrong button, but if you don't have much luck you may try using a piece of a banana on a couple of hooks for a laugh and see what happens.

Bowhunters

Way to go Ashley! She always puts some fish in the boat ! Michael - Why are you not naming a charity until December this year and no donation button?

DARREL KOPSA

Great start on epic #1 (don't worry about the C-note, you got plenty!!)

Jack

I would have been out of the boat at 6:00 when the G-note took flight!

Stephen Mixell

Michael what a crazy start to the new season losing a $100 bill. I thought you did that because of the title. I can't imagine how bummed over that bill you were. I went crazy over losing $20. Well that aside it was a great start and say hi to Ashley. Nice look by the way for her. Later man.

John Farmer

Great first run! Losing the $100 was a bummer though. You can see the bill slip out around 5:53 and by 5:55, it was gone. It was that quick.

Tom schultz
