I love how quick you are with your observations. Shit that takes some people (me) multiple watches to catch you get immediately, lol. Like the drone monitoring the fight with the creature. Ganymede is the breadbasket of the Belt. The biggest food exporters are Earth and Ganymede. And that backdrop of Jupiter is insane, some of my fav shots in the whole show! Those were mirrors to help direct light for the growing habs that were destroyed. Shit is gonna happen fast for the rest of the season!

Yes, the title theme music does kinda “get to you.” I’ve made it my ringtone. 🚀 And yup, that’s Jupiter in the background. Ganymede is one of Jupiter’s 95 moons (at least as discovered so far). You’ve also made some great observations in this episode. However, no comment about them. And you’ll get more information about the backgrounds of our core characters. However, they are revealed slowly over a few seasons. It’s worth the wait, and is one of the many reasons I love the show. Otherwise, buckle up and hang on. Things are about to speed up (much like Solomon Epstein).

The Epstein storyline is one of the Expanse short stories that stands alone separate from the book (somewhat). This is one of several examples of them incorporating these stories into an episode and they don't necessarily directly correlate with other things going on in the episode.

As usual you're on point with your analysis of the episode! Just to help guide you about Amos: Think about the episode where they talked about the surgical procedure Dresden's scientists (including Cortazar) had, that removed their empathy. I'm sure you remember Amos' reaction to this...

Fantastic. Not saying what you got right and what you don't, but man I really should stop underestimate you. One thing is certain something you got very right and when the story give you uncloser, you will be happy. As for Epstein story, those elements were taken from short story called Drive, which came out around the same time as the first book. There are more of those short stories and when the final book came out, book number nine, collection of those story was tenth book. Some of those are really great, for example Amos origin story. Some of those stories also got adapted along the way of the series similar way the Drive.

I got chills rewatching the end of this episode with you. That is a major feat as I've watched the show 30+ time. I think this back half if the season is going to be a gauntlet for you... well actually the whole show will be... ahhhh. I can't wait to watch it with you.
