Just to recap when Amos started to feel bad: It was when the refugee kid pushed him to "protect" his mother in last episode. When we find back Amos in this one what we have to take from it is that he went on some kind of binge, was involved in a couple (bar) fights and just was not doing well at all. And it was this event that seemed to ignite it. Then you have the little exchange with Prax at the end where Amos tells him coming with them to Ganymede to find his daughter is "a good reason". Also, I forgot to comment this last time: The volume is pretty low on these last couple Expanse reactions, you might want to crank it up ;) Having the levels between -9 and -6dB (in your editing software) on average is the sweet spot, if I remember correctly.

"Pyre" in which we learned that Drummer has a temper. 😀 Suthor/writer/producer has said that was probably th "most fun'scene to shoot of the season.

If you think this was Drummer being hardcore you ain't seen nothing yet. She and Claes Ashford - we haven't met him yet - are my second favorite character(*) in the show after Amos. _________________ * = they're both so close it's really a day form question which one ranks ahead of the other. Both actors _killed_ their roles.

I have to back up Holden here, Naomi is pushing it these last episodes! Holden is trying to stop the PM and wants to save as many people as possible, no matter what faction they are with. Naomi is only looking out for the belt, which we saw time and time again. I can see why Holden didn’t inform her, he can’t win with her as we have seen this season multiple times. Also she is lying and betraying the whole crew and endangering every living thing in the system by keeping the sample. And then she attacks Holden for not informing her right away about such a small thing in comparison? Still, Holden should have told her, but Naomi has no right to criticise him in any way.

It's a light spoiler. Please be aware that even just saying something like "You won't believe what they get up to" or "There's a lot more to them you haven't seen yet" implies they are sticking around. And not knowing if someone is going to last 1 more episode or 1 more season is part of the enjoyment of watching the show. The rule I tend to follow is only discussing things that have already transpired on screen. Any discussion about things that haven't happened on screen should be incredibly broad like "next season is great" or "things really ramp up soon". That's just my thoughts on the matter, though.

Man, things just seem to be unravelling for Fred! I think if he didn't have Drummer, he would have been usurped a long time ago. Really good points made about Naomi and Holden's relationship, as it's not her job to "bring him back". If you ever read the books, there's this one part in the 8th book where that's kind of touched on and it's one of my fav scenes in the whole ten books. Naomi lying about the PM sample never sat well with me, but like you said, the writers are keeping fucking true to the character they created. So I may not agree with her decision, but I can appreciate where she's coming from.

I was excited to see your introduction to Prax. Great addition to the show. And as you mentioned, just a ton of other stuff happening here. It's amazing how they continually found actors who just nailed every part. Not sure if you noticed, but in the early flashback, Mei going up to the dome window and waving is who Bobbi saw in episode 2x6 when she checked out the dome before the attack.
