Not enamored with Twin Twains? That dog won't hunt! And (not the biggest spoiler out there) but this is the first time they've shown what Orion is like. Enterprise did a few eps but it was more explanations about their dealings with other races (and one obligatory cameo from The Big Show since they were on the same channel as Smackdown) and this was more into the culture/ what they're like at home. And it seems like a BLAST. And everyone saw Ursula with the madame, I saw "Dark Knight Returns" Selina Kyle.

I feel like the Twin Twains will grow on you on second watch when you aren't feeling so desperate to get back to the girls trip.

That said this episode is absolutely one of my ultimate favourites. Tendi backstory, our first time seeing Orion, the dynamic between Tendi, Mariner and T'Lyn, girls trip!, the gag with Mariner getting hit repeatedly with the knife. It's just everything I want, everything I need! The moment where T'Lyn throws away the pad I think is what fully cemented her in my heart right alongside the warp core four. I love how much heart this show has always and I think this episode exemplifies that in so many ways.

You mentioned D'Erica but I'm also very partial to Tendi's dad's name B'urt hahaha (also no spoilers but my favourite of these silly Orion names is yet to come lol)

Full disclosure...I completely missed that they spelled his name B'urt :D That is absolutely hilarious :) Thank you so much for pointing me to that!

My favorite random name was the Daddy Daughter Dagger Dance :)
