Sweet I'm pumped to watch this! I always really liked the tone of this episode. Makes me feel those nostalgia warm and fuzzies every time I watch it. Gosh I love this show!

Ha hearing you say "Fuck Rick, Lisa deserves better" and knowing what's coming this episode and next is really funny.

Griffen

Rick and Lisa are the same rank at this point. She can't throw him out anymore. He thought he was being called in for an ass chewing and gave her "I don't have to take this anymore" Rick would have an EXTREME level of PTSD and stress at this point. He watched billions die, and probably killed hundreds of thousands and now 70k ish people rely on him to save the human race as he's a high ranking combat Pilot. Lisa is a Command level officer. She does meetings, plans, and organization. But when the plans fail it's Rick that has to stand over the bodies. Though at this point there would be no Human left who hadn't seen death in a large scale.

aspectsAK

As Justin Samlal mentioned, being in the "Fuck Rick, Lisa deserves better." The upcoming episodes always frustrated me because of just how indecisive Rickhead is and some of the worse decisions he makes. Unfortunately, a very common trope in anime love triangles. At least Kyle's storyline has an improvement, that's all I'll say on that. Glad to hear that Warp Reactor's sneak peeks at Macross: DYRL has him pumped to watch it.
