Greg suspects an actor playing a nameless gangster of previously playing the role of a Red Shirt. Less then a minute later, that same gangster dies during a drive-by shooting. Suspicion confirmed. This episode is one of my favorites for Season 2. What other episode ending shows Captain Kirk being asked how he will explain to Starfleet that they will need to send a ship to collect their 'cut' from the Iotians. Also its precious when Kirk calls Spock, 'Spocko'. There are a few more episodes in this season that also deal with the Prime Directive. I won't mention their titles and let you discover on your own about those episodes.

FYI, Vic Tayback's son was a classmate of my brother, that was so way cool.

Also, there is a subtle goof in the graphics with the next episode, something done out of order. Go check and see if you notice it. It isn't a big deal and many don't notice.

The music in this episode reminds me of Predator from time to time

What kind of work do you do when you're not geeking out on sci-fi?

Production note: that was Jimmy Doohan doing the radio announcer at 18:12
