I'm ready to go but know nothing about the system and my ND brain can't choose between the options, lmao.

I'm in. I am vaguely aware of the system but I have all the TTRPG books somewhere on my hard drive.

two_owls

Oh yes, I'm all in

aspectsAK

I'm in because "I am that guy." Oh for scheduling purposes, I'm retired and just about anytime or day works for me. My local timezone, if you haven't guessed, is Alaska (GMT -8) Time to crack open the PDF and get reacquainted with the system.

I’m a total newbie, never played a TTRPG, but it sounds fun and I want to know more.

Lauralyn

I'm a newbie and have started reading the free quick start guide and feel overwhelmed and a little lost. That's so much info and it's the quick start?! Am I doing this right? I feel like it's a college course and I need to take notes to absorb it. Will that work? I wish I'd played back in college so my brain could categorize and slot this info more easily! Whew. But I'm game!

Do not worry about absorbing everything! I always tell new players that the bottom line for RPing is telling the GM (me) what you'd like to do and I'll let you know what I need (usually a die roll). I'll handle the rest :) We'll learn the system as we go but no matter what the game mechanics say, The 'Rule of Cool' will always be the only 'real' rule at our table :)

Joshua

Which system will it be in, just so I can buy it and read it before?

The official Green Ronin system! The Quickstart rules are free over on DriveThruRPG and should more than suffice initially.

sanjosharks39

I own all the Expanse TTRPG materials from Green Ronin if you need anything! And I ran a bit of a short campaign I'd be happy to share some ideas from. Count me super duper interested to play. I was sad I couldn't be a player in the short campaign I ran lol

RogueFirefly

I'm along for the ride, Hoss

Im definitely in but I may not have the time because I work so many evenings and I am on UK time. But I'd love to keep up with it if you did any write-ups of play sessions etc.!
