Leonard's masochism extends all the way too the performance of his troops on the battlefield, I think hahaha By the way, the new format is really great! It's really helpful to have the video in the corner to help me get resynced halfway through, since my copy has the commercial bumpers! This episode is such a cool one, and forms the climax of the novel Robotech #8: Metal Fire. The exploration of the mounds isn't a super long scene in the novel, but they do talk more about how it's clear they're inside the remains of the ship, with panels and wiring and bulkheads and stuff all over the place. In the novels, every chapter opens with a quote, like as if the story is being looked back upon by historians after the series is completed. This chapter included a cool piece that I hope I remember to share with you at the end of this arc!

Oh awesome! I'm going to make it a point to at least read that section...just for the SDF-1 call backs! Thank you, buddy!

I too like the new format for resyncing. But if I might be able to make a suggestion is to leave the audio off on the 10 min resync event. Normally I haven't had a problem with sync issues, but the sudden second audio will jar me for a second.

Robotech, this channel and pizza, great combination. 🤜🤛
