Very nice! I'm actually kind of surprised to see finger nails on the model. Nice touch. Keep up the good work!

Nico

hmm, must see the final rendering lighting!

SilverHunterN

Nice update. I'm surprised you made his eyes quite plain. Most ps4/ps5 characters tend to have quite detailed eyes. For example, if you look up Final Fantasy 15, the characters in that one have quite detailed eyes.

CryZENx

indeed hehe but do you like more detailed eye texture ?

SilverHunterN

Actually yes, I would like to see more detailed eyes for Link. Thing is, the camera tends to be behind Link most of the time (in gameplay), so I think the best time to see Link's eyes is during cutscenes.

Elijah Johnson

I think his eyes need some reflection and a glass look. The pupils could be a little bigger. Maybe add some subsurface scattering to the skin and eye textures. Other than that looks great!

Tommcq

Looks great! If I gave any notes; there's something about the jawline/ maybe cheeks that feel a bit off to me but maybe it's just that I need to get used to a new design. Aside from that, I just agree with the others that I would like more detailed eyes. Awesome job though!

CryZENx

Alright, im actually not very good at blender when it comes to Shading but i can wait to show you the final result on unreal engine 5 with all those things. I have added even tear eyeliner around the eye that i have not showen yet

Brandon Harper

How do I know what tier I am? Im trying to learn to take 3d models and bake them into 2d sprites but I cant really 3d model well at this point so Id love to be able to download this Link to help me learn how

CryZENx

Hey Brandon, you are currently Tier list 2, once the model is finished, then i will release this model and i will release more models in the future ! Let me know what you need :)

Brandon Harper

Thank you! Honestly the old model would even work. a low poly model would even work. Did you use the reference photos from the game to make your models initially? Keep up the good work btw! I've been following your project for years, I'm a huge Zelda fan

CryZENx

Im using some reference photos of real life children and of course some of the artworks from ocarina of time
