Good morning everyone and welcome back to 'The Bakery Bears Advent Calendar 2024'

This is it! The last day of the MKAL. My goodness it has been so much fun. There is still one wonderful thing left to do though. Join Kay as she shows you how to place your tin star and offers you alternatives on how many stars you might place!

Join Kay this morning as she:

  • Opens ‘Day Twenty Three’ of our ‘Advent Calendar’

  • Welcomes you to the final section of this years knit along

  • Lets you know what we’ll be doing today

  • Shows you her completed hat and shows you how to place your tin star

  • Gives you some options with regards how many stars you place

  • Shows you how to find your starting point on the chart

  • Reads to you the next section of this years ‘Christmas Story’

  • The next section of the pattern is attached to the bottom of this post. The complete pattern for the 'Country Christmas Hat' will be shared with you tomorrow. If you are uncertain how to download the pattern, this video shows you howhttps://www.patreon.com/posts/how-to-find-and-47907523

Thank you so much for watching, join us tomorrow for our final show of the calendar which will include some exciting news about 2025 and of course it will include both patterns knitted this year!

Merry Christmas everyone, we hope you have the most wonderful day!

A lovely ending to the hat and the story! Thank you Kay. I have already wrapped my mitts as a Christmas gift for my neighbour. So will make another pair for myself. I wonder if I can get them finished by Christmas Day...

Beautiful! 🎄 Heartfelt thanks to you Kay.... Your advent designs this year have been so very beautiful and so much fun to knit... I'm still working on mine - but already have plans to use these patterns again for gifts in 2025! ✨And to get TWO patterns! Incredible! 💕 The story you chose was just gorgeous, and so wintery and festive, and I have loved listening to you read it for us. 💕 Thank you so much for all the time and hard work you put into these patterns for us, and into this years advent knit along... 💕

Carol Harrison

Thank you Kay for these beautiful patterns. I have thoroughly enjoyed making them. I’ll have to wait to put the star on as I managed to take the tip off my finger 🤦🏻‍♀️😫 😂 Will definitely be making another set, plus my Husband wants a hat, but just a plain one 💕

Lisa Lessard

Kay, your designs are so lovely and I love your attention to detail. I love this whole set!!!

Lisa K

Lovely set! I'm so excited to get mine done. The weather here in SC (USA) is just turning cold enough to get a little use out of these. That pink and yellow hat is stunning Kay. Not surprised Bryony claimed that one.

Deb Waterman

I look forward to making my hat. Thank you, Kay, for the lovely pattern!

Carin Zwaneveld

What a great patterns. I'm a bit behind with the mitts but I finish the hat this afternoon. My first hat ever. Thank you so much.
