Welcome to our 'Radio Show' photographs collection

Here are the photos from todays Radio Show.

- Image one is the picture that inspired the episode. The photo was taken in 1900, we think not long after the houses on Victoria Embankment was built

- Image two is the one we took mid episode in exactly the same spot as image 1, or as close as we could could get to it!

- Image three is another photo looking down the embankment but this one focuses more on the river. It was taken around 1920

- Image four is the cat we saw mid episode sat on the log above the river!

- Image five, six and seven are of houses we mentioned on our walk today

- Image eight is of Pease Cottages which we mentioned in todays show

- Image nine is of the cricket club house

- Image ten shows the cricket pitch

- Image eleven shows the new houses built on the opposite side of Victoria Embankment in 2019

We'll be back in two weeks with Episode 18.

Very cool, thank you for sharing these. Can't wait to listen to the show as soon as I can!

My grandfather called modern builds as a lick and a promise. I live in an Edwardian home in Toronto that was built in the early 1900s that is as solid as a brick $!#& house. I agree with Kate I'd rather live in an older updated home than buy a new build.
