Welcome to the 'Bakery Bears Radio Show' Episode 34

As 2021 has begun we have decided to make a few changes to the way we are approaching life. We think one of the things which is so important in life is the mental space offered by a little boredom. But in a multi sensory world with constant engagement, how is it possible to find the time anymore for a little boredom? In todays show we talk about how we've done it.

Your conversation reminded me of this scripture passage: "25 “For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? 27 And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? " Matthew 6: 25-27 Truth.

Some really interesting points. I am trying to pull back from negativity and online media. It is amazing how intertwined we have become with it. I stopped watching the daily briefings on Covid as I started to get so depressed and I felt it was making my children anxious. Great tip for turning off notifications. I am also only working on set parts of my WIPs each day. Feels nice to ‘tick’ off a completed part each day. My next task is to fit my daily walk in early each day, otherwise I lose motivation to do it. Thanks for a great show x
