Welcome to our ’Avoiding Trouble’ collection.

Earlier this year we published a tutorial showing you how to pick up a dropped stitch which you can watch here https://www.patreon.com/posts/picking-up-46077804 . We have had lots and lots of requests for a follow up and we are delighted to bring you that today, because what if you dropped a stitch in garter stitch! Fear not as Kay is here to show you how to fix your pesky ladder.

Join Kay in todays tutorial as she:

  • Explains and show you how garter stitch is constructed
  • Talks you through what you need to do to fix a dropped stitch in garter
  • Demonstrates how to pick up your stitch using a small crochet hook
  • Shows you what your fixed dropped stitch looks like when you have finished.

I’ve never had it explained like this - genius - thank you so much, Kay.

I could have used this several hours ago! After some fiddling, I’m proud to say I did figure it out....not knowing quite how I did it. Hahaha! Thank you for this tutorial.....explains it perfectly!
