Welcome to the 'Bakery Bears Radio Show' Episode 81

We are delighted to return with our latest episode of the Radio Show.

Today we are discussing humour. What is it? Why do we all find different things humorous and is it possible still to be a comedian in the modern world. Along the way we talk about our families and how Dan inherited a sense of humour from his mum and his grandad.

Join Kay & Dan as they:

We'll see you on the 23rd of March with the next episode of the show.

That was so interesting - such a great conversation. My family always said you can choose to laugh or cry. We always chose laughter, even though sometimes it came after the crying.

My husband and I laugh a lot together. I make him laugh all the time. I have a silly sense of humor and I like puns or finding a song lyric that suits the response to a question. The movie Peewee's Big Adventure is a guilty pleasure of mine. It still makes me laugh out loud. The Jerk is another one that never gets old. I don't enjoy stand-up except for Bill Cosby in the 70s and 80s. We listened to several of his record albums and watched Himself countless times. You can certainly be funny without being vulgar or cussing all the time. My husband likes the more runchy humor and comedians, but he's gentleman enough to listen when I'm not around. He laughs hysterically when somebody breaks wind on a movie or tv show. I fail to see anything funny about that, but it positively slays him every time!
