Welcome to the final part of our 'Beach Days Bag Making Series'!

Way back in June we commenced our Summer of Stitching with the Beachcomber Socks. Today it's time to bring the tutorial element of our Summer of Stitching 2023 to a close. We're going to do that with the culmination of all our hard work on the Beach Days, as we finish off our gorgeous bag!

Join Kay as she:

  • 00:00 Introduction - Shows you all we’ve done so far
  • 01:04 Turning your bag the right way round - Shows you how to turn your bag inside out through the whole you left
  • 02:47 Sewing up your final Seam - Demonstrates how to sew up your final seam
  • 04:32 Position your Lining - Talks you through and shows you how to position your lining fabric
  • 07:08 Final Thoughts - Shows you her finished bag, attaches a zipper pull and talks through what would fit in it

Kay will be back on the 31st August with a special Design Diary and throughout September with some brand new reviews and a tutorial special.

Thanks for a great Summer, Kay. I’ve enjoyed knitting the Beachcomber socks and I really loved cross stitching and making the bag.🥰

I finally finished my bag! is it perfect? Not by a long shot, but that's user error, nothing to do with the instructions which were perfect. if you want to see a pic let me know where to send it - I'm very proud of my creation!
