I love kaimu! I can't say whether the translations are fully accurate but I think they capture the nihilistic vibe of the song. In terms of their writing process, we've only gotten glimpses over the years. From what I've seen, Taka usually plays piano and/or guitar when writing so he might be involved with composing as well.

Toru wrote Living Dolls. I live My Sweet Baby.

Iveta Tabahneva

They performed Living dolls on their Mighty long fall tour at Yokahama stadium :) And it was amazing

Jolene Nakamatsu

Toru did the music and lyrics for Cupido and Living Dolls. But Taka did the lyrics for all the other songs in the album. I am so glad to see the English translations of the songs because I like the music but it became so much better understanding the lyrics. Taka is so fantastic with his lyrics even from the early albums.

Elizabeth Youtsey

Not my favorite, but I have a soft spot for Viva Violent Fellow because Taka has said moshing helped him process a lot of his youthful rage.

I think Alex leaving was really unfortunate. The band never lost their creativity but I do think that they lost a little bit of lead complexity. Mainly because they lost a guitarist and didn't have a rhythm guitar fill out the sound while the lead played tasty riffs and licks. Either way, they rock.
