Taylor originally wrote this for her album Red, but it didn’t make it to the album.

ah I love this performance,, she sounds so good. I just want you to know that this isn't the full song, she's released her version of it during her red album re-record, if you want to do the full version some day (im counting on a red album reaction in the future anyway 😂)

Love this performance! Little Big Town did great on it too and Taylor won song of the year at the CMAs for it as the writer (even after she left country music). Side note….might not want a Big Machine sponsorship if you want to keep your Swiftie viewers 😂 they are the ones that stole Taylor’s first 6 masters and the reason she is having to re-record them now

She wrote this for her album "Red" but then gave it to Little Big Town. This is the song she wrote that they recorded! But then she did her own recording of it when she released Red Taylor's Version (it's one of the "vault" songs). Also, note that Big Machine is the label that screwed her over in the end. Scott Borchetta, the label owner and the man in the audience here, was like a second father to her, and he royally f*!ked her over when she decided to leave his label. (he sold her masters to Scooter Braun even though she wanted to buy them -- he wouldn't sell them to her). Anywho, she wrote a bunch of songs about this betrayal, including My Tears Ricochet.

p.s. Little Big Town won a number of awards for their recording of Better Man. It won Song of the Year at the CMAs and also a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance! You should totally check out their version!

Ooh all the swifties will descend upon the big machine LOL. That guy is the WORST kind of person, like a terrible CEO from a k-drama on steroids! Another reason why ARMY cringe collectively every time Scooter (who calls themselves scooter professionally, honesty?) shows up in the HYBE promos like with JK's Golden album. Big time ick factor with them both from my female perspective. Damn the man LOL!

That guy right 8n front of her hurt her more than all the mean girls and bad boyfriends combined.
