That's an interesting point you mentioned about other groups 'phoning it in' for these types of performances. I really wasn't interested in watching performances before BTS (probably because most are so bland in comparison, they never could capture my attention!), so I didn't know that. Seems kinda rude to phone it in on a show you're being invited to, but maybe that's just me. Gotta love our boys for always standing so effortlessly out of the pack! I absolutely have LOVED watching your BTS journey and how you've grown to appreciate all aspects of their music. I'm sorry you're getting so much hate for it, I've received the same in my life as well. Really don't know why that happens, but I know that Army will not pay it any attention because BTS doesn't pay it any attention! I am proud to be a member of your patreon group, and an Army for life! God bless, John!

🥹🥹 thank you!! I can’t wait to hear / see it!! What’s your Favorite preference of Idol they’ve done?

I thought you’re going to watch the other performance as well haha it’s from BTS week on Jimmy’s show. All the performances were great for that week! All worth watching

LIVE!! In Los Angeles. Made my hair stand straight up. Most amazing concert experience I’ve ever had! And I’ve been going to concerts since 1980.

Blast lol! I didn’t know they did two 😂 but that’s actually a cool thing I’m excited to see the next one! How many songs did they do that week?

I thought this was going to be the Idol performance you used in the thumbnail lol. While the live audience is nice, I definitely recommend checking out the other Idol performance on Jimmy Fallon from BTS week. It was during the pandemic (so no audience), but the place where they performed in S Korea makes for a really cool backdrop.

I had no clue they did two 😂🤦🏻‍♂️ but I for sure know now! And I’m going to do all the songs from the BTS week they did on here!! Can’t wait to hear them all 🥰🥰

They did 5 songs but 6 performances. They did Dynamite twice, one time a mix with the production crew from the Fallon show ^^ (other songs: IDOL, Black Swan, Mikrokosmos, Home)

This is one of my favorite performances ever! It has a very special place in my heart. This was the first performance I ever saw BTS and they completely blew me away. I had never seen anything like it! The choreography was so cool, they were unbelievably in sync with each other and they were so full of energy, it was just blasting off of them in waves, lol! I was seriously impressed and immediately started going online and searching for more and the rest is history! 💜💜💜

It's amazing when watching the cherography how much jimin travels in this song..

Haha I thought you were going to react to the one they did during BTS week on Jimmy Fallon, which is the pic in the thumbnail! The one you reacted to was their first one on Jimmy Fallon and there was a cute interview to go with it :)

I had seats at the side of the forward stage for the 12/2021 concert at Sofi stadium in Anaheim CA. I had a perfect view of their choreo formations and they are so precise it’s like a Swiss watch. And each member moves within the dance, sometimes jumping back or sliding sideways. And it’s perfect every time. Their dance is a part of the musicality, it’s eye candy partnered with the ear candy of the song. They are the best because they worked long and hard to hone their talents. I have immense respect for them as musicians and performance artists.

As someone who has seen Elvis (i was 10) AND Michael Jackson, and EVERYONE in between, I can tell you, These men's performances live, are even better. Not even kidding. I've seen them 2x. But this performance was my first seeing g them live. I had just watched the Blood Sweat and Tears dance practice literally 2 weeks before this. I was falling by then. I was just amazed. I had never seen anything like it and dance had everything to do with it. RM once said that since Korean idol groups don't play instruments on stage, they use dance as a visual enhancement of the music. Their bodies ARE the instruments. I still didn't know who was who at this point, but just a few days after seeing this Tonight show, i did!

You definitely need to watch the BTS week on Jimmy Fallon. They did a musical performance all five days. They also did super funny skits with Jimmy and with Steven Colber on his show.

This is one of my fave idol performances - they always look great on a tiny stage because you can see how in time they are. everyone is incredible in this one. I love every Fallon performance - his exuberance matches theirs
