Regarding ARMY mass buying. For me personally I will purchase a set from Weverse US and another set from Weverse Global. Since the usually arrive a week after release and I want to listen right away I will purchase from my local target. So I open the Target for playing and keep the Weverse Global version sealed as my collector’s versions. Then the Weverse US version I give to ARMYs that can’t afford or can’t get near them. I spend money I worked hard for on those albums I purchased. It pisses me off to think the cut my sales to a single copy or set. I give a set to someone that can’t afford why shouldn’t it count, just because I paid for it on their behalf? I don’t even listen to the radio anymore unless someone has their car window rolled down and they are playing the radio. Radio says they reach a lot of people but I feel they are just playing to no one. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I found this video very informative and I appreciate your comments. To start with, I know very little about the music industry. if any. When I realized BTS have 5 Grammy nominations w/o one win, something is seriously wrong. I have not been watching the Grammy's or any other awards show (20-30 years) knowing it is at minimal biased if not totally corrupt. ARMY just needs to continue with the support ( which really doesn't even need to be said) because where 2 or 3 agree a "thing," will be established. But this does explain a lot. This is not the end, information is power. Originally, I bought songs mainly 1 by 1, but over the last several months, I buy the whole album w/o listening to a single song. Proud of BTS for their perseverance in the midst of adversity. No small thing to remain with message of LOVE after how wrongfully they have been treated. Truly admiral.

If I could afford to buy one of everything BTS put out I would, unfortunately I don’t have that amount of extra money. But I don’t see it as wrong to for others to do so, if they want to spend their money on that then go for it. Having been an avid music listener for decades, I’ve come to realize when it comes to charts and critic rating of music (or movie and TV) if the critics like it, I most likely won’t, while if they put it lower on their lists, I’ll probably love it. That’s why I don’t watch award shows and things of that nature, because they aren’t showcasing the actual talented and really worthy artists, they’re showcasing the ones that will tow the industry line.

i have noticed algorithm on YT and it´s normal to get recommendations to other kpop groups since BTS is one right?. but the problem i have at the moment is that i get recommendation for ONE specific group. and that group is not Blackpink witch would make sense since they have second most fans and views on their videos. this group is in the higher end but not on the top. i find it strange that i don´t get recommendations for many other groups. seventeen f.eks i don´t se them at all and they have alot of fans. I had to block that specific groups main channel, but that didn´t help. i would just get reaction videos from reactors that i don´t follow. and it´s the same videos. not the songs primarily but it´s the behind the scene videos of the group. i have blocked and pressed not interested so many times but it keeps appearing. so i think the labels might push their groups by paying YT for these algorithm. it would seem like that. i also get BTS but not as many and another reactor who has knowledge of YT said on his video, that BTS reactions is not getting recommended to fans. so when a reactor does BTS reactions it takes fans longer to notice them and also get more views. other groups reactions get way more views faster. so something is going on. but idk how it works.

the thing about radio is that it´s not really used anymore by people. it´s used by businesses. in the store, restaurants and commercials. that´s how people knew butter and dynamite before they even looked at the video. many didn´t even know it Was a korean band. they said they heard it everywhere. and Bighit went all out on those songs. they paied for a tour bus to park in front of radio stations and it would play the song a day before release. so radio could hear it was English and was good enough. so they played the song. not as much as the other artist but enough that people who didn´t know BTS would stream it on sportify and check out the MV. radio works as commercial for a song and artist.
