These were used during the 2018 tour, right after Yui left.

There are two extra dancers, nicknamed muscle metal.

That is BOH on the bass and it is a 6 string bass.

It is Su and Moa plus two backup dancers. This is right after Yui left and Mikio died. The band was Takayoshi, BOH, Hideki and ISAO.

This was 2018 the world tour after Yui officially announced her departure from BabyMetal because of ongoing health issues. The two “extra” members were fill ins (the “Avenger Era” - replacement of one backup with Moa instead of 2 began shortly after this concert). In 2019 Momoko became the most consistent “Avenger” and of course is now officially a third member of BabyMetal.

Biggest pit? Road of Resistance Live in Japan? Maybe MetRock?

Jim Nusbaum

Good luck. Never heard of 5B? Amuse is their management.

As in the comments above, this was 2018 - Yui was taken ill at the end of 2017 and she missed the 2018 tour (she announced she was leaving later in the year in October), so for this tour Su and Moa were centre stage one behind the other and they had two dancers (named Muscle Metal by the fans) supporting them to either side. 2018 was their 'Dark Side' tour, so they had the "warrior elf" costumes. Biggest pits I can think of in a BABYMETAL video - probably Metrock 2015 - 40 minutes of perfection and the maddest crowd you have seen.

You asked on Youtube about documentaries - the best is Cryptic Misery's 'Everything you need to know about Babymetal - updated'. It is a couple of years old now, but we can fill you in on what has happened since then. It is a bit over 40 minutes, but very good and very informative.

This was not avengers era, this was before. Neither of those girls were avengers. This was the line up for the 2018 world tour, the avengers era didn’t start till the Metal Galaxy world tour.

Did you not understand what I actually commented? No where in my comment did I ever indicate that these two “muscle metal dancers” were Avengers. I said the Avenger Era began AFTER this festival.

This was in 2018 shortly after Yui‘s departure. To me it felt a bit like they were running around like a headless chicken. They tried out different configurations for a while with varying numbers of dancers, until they finally realized that it makes the most sense to get back to the trio formation, which then lead to the Avengers concept.

Metrock is definitely the right answer for best pits. Watch this show as soon as you can.
