I think they’re all segments of one episode (I might be wrong). Kimchi jjigae is kimchi stew. From what I understand, fresh kimchi is essentially the unfermented version of what you think of as kimchi. I would assume it doesn’t get the tang that the fermented kimchi gets.

This was awesome, thank you for reacting!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed watching this. Just discovered, Jimin, like me, doesn’t like seafood. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 My ethnicity is Japanese & live in Hawaii. 😂🤣😂🤣

Hi John, just dropping in to answer one of your last questions about the kimchi. Jjigae = stew. So kimchi is the kimchi we all know and love, and kimchi jjigae is kimchi stew. It often contains tofu or pork 💜

Definitely would like to see more content like this! I love BTS's music of course but I also love learning more about them as people too - getting an insight into their daily lives is fascinating to me- thanks for the reaction! 😁

I'm commenting down below lol.....Yes! Let's do the others! Jin and Jimin are so funny, I love seeing them do things like this together.

Yes, it's all one episode. Next the chefs, who are other people sitting at the table, attempt to make dishes out of the ingredients. Jimin and Jin rate and describe them. Jin's descriptions are magical. Not to be missed!

I would also enjoy watching the other vids, since I'm also a foodie. You asked what's the difference in the kimchi Jimin was talking about. Kimchi jigae or kimchi stew is one thing you can make with kimchi. So, Jimin was saying he really likes his mom's kimchi and kimchi stew. You can also eat kimchi the day you make it (fresh kimchi) because it hasn't fermented yet. I'm told fresh kimchi has a different flavor profile and texture to the fermented one.

I don't know how you feel about spoilers, but I'll provide the link and you can use it if you would like to. But a year ago Jin did a cool cooking video with one of the chefs around the table we just watched (Chef Lee Yeon Bok). Jin traveled to his house and they cooked together it was a lot of fun to watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDVsc80kA2k
