This whole season has destroyed me, but I just love how well you can see how much everyone's acting has levelled up especially with Kit and Joe like damn it's all so heavy. I haven't been able to stopped feeling all the emotions, and plus I discovered that in Kit was in the room talking while they filmed for Joe's part when Nick and Charlie talk over the phone

Frances

The acting, especially during the phone call between Nick and Charlie and the scene with Nick and his aunt was on another level! So incredibly sad but so well done ♥️

Lunaalways

Joe’s acting in the scene on the phone with Nick - exquisite! I am so stunned, particularly in this season, with how much Alice can say without saying anything - from web searches to missed calls to texts she is able to move a story arc and develop relationships so strongly but with such minimal screen time that this season seems really dense, but everything is so beautifully done. I love it even though it breaks me every time ❤️

Sue Porter

The acting from Joe in this, his little "mhmm" just broke me. Him trying to smile and not cry...

Bee.G

Sobbing along side you. The song at the end was heartbreaking

I wish many many adults would watch this show. It shows us how "to be an authentic adult and parent". And that we need to keep growing as people, no matter what our age, to be the best we can be for younger people in the world. Also shows how as adults we can learn from younger people.

Dionne Lakey

Yeah trying to get all my adult friends to watch this show - even when they think it isn't for them. It's really necessary PSA for how we treat young people in our society.

I thought I was the only one who thought this 😭 it's something I've done as well and it hurt seeing him do it 🥲

I've watched this episode so many times already, and I don't usually feel emotion, but this episode still makes me cry. Charlie on his phone at the end, I just relate to that feeling so much and then Nick and Auntie Diane came along and broke my heart. On a scale of Darcy's mum to Sarah Nelson, I think Auntie Diane is right up there. She delivered those lines so perfectly. Trust me, those tears are just the start of what is to come.

I’m never good at binging shows, and Heartstopper is no exception. I’m limiting myself to an episode a day (which is why I’m currently only through episode five), and that gives me enough time to process each episode before I move on to the next one. As someone else has already said, I’m impressed with the way the story is moved along in things like the photos Charlie scrolls through on the phone. For me, in addition to the emotional content, the excellence of the storytelling in the show is incredibly impressive. As is inevitable, there are some naysayers out there, even with this season, and I do my best to skip past them, knowing that they are generally the kind of people who don’t feel satisfied unless they can pick something apart. Fortunately, the positive responses massively outweigh any negative ones that come along.

I should not have watched this at work... I fully agree with the idea that you need a group of people to be there to support you, and I have found an amazing group of people that I would never have come across, had I not decided to join your Patreon, I know I have said it before multiple times, but the people I have found in this community you have created have changed my life, I think that I can never say it enough or thank you enough.

Jane's "stop undermining me" is so weird to me because of course she is going to defend her brother? she's not his parent

I am pretty sure they changed this from the book, where it was Charlie's dad who said that, I think maybe they were trying to make the parents seem more like a team, so they switched that line to Tori...

I didn't realize that they changed it, thats interesting

I know it was said already but apart of crying alongside you, some part of me is speachless seeing the skills' level of Joe and Kit. Looking at Kit, is so obvious Nick is head over hills with Charlie. And the phone call scene at the end so so heartbreaking but also bringing a bit of hope that Charlie is moving forvard and admitting, naming what is going on with him. Just so stunning performance... ❤️

That's safe space. And also kind of (great one!) support system for all 🩷🩷🩷

Tori texting Nick was the first time I legit cried at this show. She gets me multiple times this season, but this just got me so hard. The desperation she had to feel to reach out. 💔

I heard Kit talking about that just today & wow! Makes it even more special.

It sure does, like this season is just built on so many understanding and heart worthing messages for all of us to hear

Tiffany Church

Nick's lower Maths GCSE score is the exam that he had a breakdown in in season 2. Excellent detail.

Nicky Van den Bosch

I just started watching your reaction, but you know what, I just realized something: Nick saying to his aunt in response of his mother not being able to make the Menorca trip with "there is always next year" just makes me think that when we get a s4 they are going to make sure Olivia is in it, manifesting it

Nicky Van den Bosch

That extra layer to "you need other people too" coming from Nick's aunt instead of his mom is soo a spot on revelation, that is precisely why you are my fav, I just love your reactions and thoughts!!!

kerry

This episode makes me cry every time I watch it. X

On a lighter note... You and the other two british youtubers I follow seemed equally offended by the tomatoes and the lack of gravy in the sunday roast... It was hilarious 😂😂
