There are a few creepy elements. But they lessen as the show goes on. This is arguably the scariest episode.

I love that this series, as with Young Royals, there are constant clues as to what is going on. I don't think it's a spoiler to say that Agatha is the most shocked of all of them that they are actually on the road.

Re: Jumpscares.... It's def a witchy, Halloween vibey show. So it's a mixed bag of everything. There will be some more jumpscare moments. But nothing ever goes into true horror

Brittney

It's amazing, low-key when I was waiting every week for episode I always wanted more. But, yes different trials each episodes, and in more ways especially watching it back, you'll understand more for each trial and how it focuses on that character. It's so good to see more depths inside for each character and understand more of the story as it goes on, which I'm glad you're loving it. And yes, you haven't seen anything yet of what's to come I just can't wait to see you lose your absolute mind very soon, and surprisingly you haven't seen any of the spoilers on discard, props because that isn't easy. I can't wait for you to experience more of this road and journey with them all

You can only understand certain things after finished it and rewatch again. So dont worry and enjoy the ride 🧙🏼‍♀️

Over the weekly watch we had time to do rewatches inbetween and got less confused - plus we figured stuff out with our joint brain power on social media with discussions. But rewatches on their own really help.

It’s so crazy to me every time I rewatch it through a reaction, cause the amount of times I scream „wow“ are uncountable at this point! The writers of this show are absolute masterminds!!!

Frances

Same Jackie, I HATE scary movies, but trust me, it’s not gonna be awfully scary or horrific.

Prinsassy

After the first 3 episodes I thought, yeah okay its nice, but.... I have to say, from now on every episode is getting more and more Phantastic!!

kerry

I have really enjoyed watching the looks of confusion and joy on your face. Sorry for laughing when you nearly jumped out your skin. I love a little jump scare.x

Jacqui Chesterton

This is probably the fourth time I've watched it through, and even this time I caught hints I hadn't noticed before. Sooooo good!

It's so fun to rewatch episode by episode with you. And also to see how everyone is being up to say something but not too much and not to spoil it 🤣🤣🤣 Joe is so great and the chemistry between him and Kathryn is obvious. Love his hair but the eyeliner is missing So much! 🤭❤️ It's so hard to wait for the next episode, almost as much as when they were oficially launched 🤣

Lane Wright

As an American, to me Joe’s American accent is pretty strong. There may be a word or two here or there that sound a little British adjacent, but nothing that takes me out of the show. And as someone who is very much a wuss when it comes to horror movies, there was nothing in this series that really bothered me too much. It does help that there is humor sprinkled in. And I think I said this after the previous episode, but I too am seeing things that I didn’t understand on the first viewing that now make a lot more sense to me.

Amanda Hill

Mrs. Hart/Sharon: “Bury me in that kitchen!” The Road: “Bet.”

Erin

I would say episode 5 is going to be the creepiest…I think you are really going to enjoy the next one too… I am having fun watching this with you, I honestly don’t know how many times I have watched this show now, but like everyone has said you gain new insight in each rewatch, and that is the brilliance of the writing and that plan the creative team has from the start…

Kong Chang

Great reaction to this episode! It's not scary trust me.
