Elden Mage Chapter 3 - Messmer the Impaler (Patreon)

"Those stripped of the Grace of Gold shall all meet death. In the embrace of Hell-Fire, they shall be purged from the face of the world, be they Monsters or Mages. The ones that defy us, the ones that resist... resistance is futile. Let them become the nourishment for the Erdtree."
- Words said by Head of Carian Royal Family, Messmer Raya Caria of the Golden Order, during the attack of Black Vatican on the Leyndell
***
"Hmm... Yotsuba... are a mad bunch.
Able to kill tens of thousands for revenge.
They never cared and will never care. That is what makes them so dangerous, just like when they blew up an entire hotel in Hong Kong filled with thousands of civilians just to kill three Generals of Dahan and several Magicians.
They are madmen.
And the Golden Order is even worse... fanatics that worship the Erdtree with zeal seen only in the members of Black Vatican, and they kill anyone that disrespects their religion and leaders.
Not to mention, all the Golden Order, the Carian Royal Family, and the Yotsuba Clan are the most influential sub-factions within the Sacred City.
And now, the Great Asian Union attacked the Heir of Yotsuba; they could hope that it won't end up becoming the second Dahan because, in this new Age, might makes right."
Lieutenant Colonel of 101st Independent Magic-Equipped Battalion, Kazama Harunobu, October of the Year 2095, Attack of the Great Asian Union at Yokohama

August 2062, Taiwan, Yu Shan Mountain Range
Hearing what he said, Maya immediately took cover and went to hide, because she knew that in the battle, she would be dead weight. Even the Antinite Injection in her bloodstream was still active, so she could barely cast some spells.
At the same time, she knew that fighting against a Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear would be something that she really wanted to see. If a Mid-Tier Mage managed to kill it, then it would be a really staggering achievement.
In the world, there were not many people who had the so-called "Heaven-Defying Battle Power".
Fighting above the Tiers wasn't something that was commonly seen in the world; there were very few people who were capable of such a feat, and it was generally attributed to their Innate Ability or Inherent Magic.
And many needed to be also Mage Knights to achieve such a feat, because they would be killed almost instantly by the more powerful monsters. When the Mage advanced to the Higher Tiers, their bodies would get stronger.
Meaning they were more durable, faster, stronger, and had faster reaction time. The more Elements one had in a higher Tier, the stronger the effect was because the Mage had more Magic Power in their body stemming from their Stars.
But even that was inferior to the physical capabilities of the Monsters, and thus the Mage Knight derivation of the Magicians was created through the Ancient Magic usage or specific talents and conditions.
Messmer gripped the Spear of Impaler tightly as he looked at the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bearn that gave him a loud roar and started charging towards him.
The Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear weighed more than ten tons; they were composed of muscle, flesh, fat, and bones that were harder than many Magical Ores. The Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear used the Silver Horner on his head as the offensive spear point.
Despite the fact that the Monster was at the Semi Commander Level, its power was rather useless, and Messmer easily dodged the attack when he jumped over the charging Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear and flipped in the air, landing behind the Monster.
Fortunately enough, due to his powerful physical abilities, he was able to keep up with the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear. Though the real problem won't be just about keeping up with the Monster, but actually injuring it.
Even though his mutated Fire Element was far more powerful than the average Fire Element, its Magic Potency Level was scattered and wasn't enough to cause a proper injury to the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear.
Though...
He had something that was capable of such a feat.
The Spear of Impaler.
When he was in Africa, he personally saw the Shaman who was teaching him Magic using the very spear that he was holding to kill a Monarch Level Monster.
A very powerful Monarch Level Monster at that, so it was clear that the Spear of Impaler was clearly an extraordinary Artifact of a great power. In this fight, he would need to use his Magic only as a supplementary means.
Which was rather hard, because despite the huge size, the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear was fast... almost as fast as Messmer was, which was a rather frightening thought.
The physical prowess of the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear was overhelming to the point where Messmer didn't dare to test its power. Bears generally belonged to one of the strongest animals in sheer physical might, even before the Era of Magic.
'I need to patiently wait for the opening... despite everything, that Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear is rather wary of his surroundings, and it seems that the dammed Silver Horn is increasing its Spiritual and Psychic awareness... making an ambush or sudden attack would be highly problematic. Maybe I could try to use Summoning Magic to act as a distraction? But the strain on my Magic Power would be huge if I push it...'
Messmer's second mutated Element that he awakened was the Void Element, which was one of the Supreme Elements because, apparently, there was already a person with the Void Elemental Magic.
Approximately two thousand years ago.
As much as he understood, it was a combination of the Space Element, Summoning Element with some aspects of the Chaos Element infused into it. The Void Element was very powerful; even at the Novice Tier, some Void Elemental Spells were strong enough to injure even Mid-Tier Mages with somewhat relative ease.
The Elements were divided into three categories.
Primary Elements, Advanced Elements, and Supreme Elements.
Supreme Elements were the ones that mirrored the most fundamental and highest mysteries of the Cosmos. They were like the building blocks of Laws that were ruling and controlling reality itself.
Time, Space, Void, Life, Chaos, Order...
These were just a few examples of the Supreme Elements because there were not many of them being recorded, and people born with the Supreme Element were exceedingly rare.
Aside from the basic division of the Elements, there were Mutated Elements, which were rather rare. Actually, it was more probable that one would awaken one of the Supreme Elements than undergo the Elemental Mutation.
The Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear was becoming rather frustrated from the situation where it couldn't kill the human in front of him, despite having been clearly on the stronger end of the spectrum.
This was rather frustrating to the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear, because this was the first time that it wasn't able to kill its target in an instant, as the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear was usually the top predator in the area where it was.
Taiwan was a relatively small island, even after the expansion during the Age of Magic. The strongest monsters on the Island were known to be only Commander Level Monsters, though there were one or two slumbering Monarch Level Monsters that were not even awake for most of the time.
These Commander Level Monsters were at the peak of the ladder.
They were the strongest predators in these ends, which was also true for the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear that was a small local hegemon in these ends, as it could do what it wanted.
Messmer knew that he needed to play the long game with the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear, because at least in regard to the physical combat, his stamina was immense, and he wasn't that easily tired out when fighting.
This was something that he had noticed some time ago: his stamina was even higher than that of most Super Tier Mages around the world. For him, fighting against the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear for some time, it wasn't really that problematic.
The only thing that he found problematic was that the longer the fight went on, the greater the chances that it would attract some Monsters. Even right now, Messmer was already dealing with something that was above his abilities, and he only hoped that he would have luck on his side to be able to kill the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear.
As he dodged the paw of the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear, Messmer used one of the Novice Spells of the Hell-Fire Element, more precisely the Level 5 Spell named Hell-Fire Orb.
A relatively big, crimson, dark red, flaming orb appeared in front of Messmer, and then the next one appeared, and then one more. Once the three Hell-Fire Orbs were created, he shot them towards the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear.
Obviously, the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear just scoffed as he used its Silver-Horn to destroy the Hell-Fire Orbs, but that wasn't anything that was outside of Messmer's expectations.
He knew that such an attack wouldn't be able to injure the Semi Commander Level Monster, especially one that was famous for its durable defenses like the Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear, but it served rather well as a distraction.
When the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear noticed that someone was standing on its back, Messmer gripped the Spear of the Impaler that exploded with Hell-Fire Burst and also with powerful Telekinesis, weighing several hundred kilograms as he stabbed the Spear of the Impaler into the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear's body.
The Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear roared in pain as Messmer was thrown off the creature's body when the Monster started trashing to the point where he was thrown so fast that the Spear of the Implar remained in the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear's body.
That wasn't really a problem as Messmer used the Telekinesis Spell and summoned the Spear of the Impaler back to his hands and made some distance between himself and the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear.
Even though he managed to injure the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear severely, the Monster was still not dead. Its vitality and regenerative capabilities were something not to be underestimated.
'Even if not life-threatening, its combat capabilities are severely limited... it couldn't use its right side of body, so it should be theoretically easier to finish... but it would be much more careful or... or it would just go berserk...'
Neither of the two possible outcomes was something that he wanted, but at least, if the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear decided to remain more careful, it would be easier to fight.
The last thing that he wanted was for the Monster to go totally berserk. When monsters went berserk, their strength usually increased considerably, even though it came with the price of their very own sanity.
Nevertheless, during this state, the monsters are more dangerous and more powerful, and Messmer didn't want the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear to go berserk.
Even right now, he needed to calculate every single movement of his body so as not to be hit by the Monster. One hit was all that was required to end the fight, because the disparity in strength between him and Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear was too huge.
Messmer as Mage Knight was in a much better position to fight monsters head-on than other Mages, but even he would have problems surviving one solid hit from the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear.
Thus, he dedicated himself to creating distance between himself and his target and to annoying the creature with his Magic.
Even though the changes of some injuries were relatively low, it would be more than enough to annoy the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear to oblivion and keep him occupied while he was searching for the opening to strike again.
Thankfully, right now, due to the injury that he had inflicted on the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear, the Monster couldn't properly attack with the entire right side of his body.
Meanwhile, Messmer was fighting against the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear, and Yotsuba Maya was observing the fight with a mixture of shock and excitement.
It wasn't every day that one could see a fight like this.
The fact that Mid-Tier Mage Knight managed to injure the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear, severely injuring the Semi Commander Level Monster, was a rather unprecedented feat on its own.
She knew that Mage Knights were very rare across the world, and even in Japan, there were only a few of them. The Magic Era was still very young, and there were not many viable ways of becoming a Mage Knight or advancing through the ranks of the Mage Knight.
'His physical strength and durability must be comparable to the peak Warrior Level Monster, and his combat instincts are top-notch, despite his young age, which could only mean that he is one of the self-taught combat Mages.'
The very first generation of the Mages, when there was no systematic Magical education established, learned by themselves and primarily through combat. These Mages often severely lacked the theoretical knowledge of Magic and its inner workings, but their combat prowess was usually unmatched.
Over the decades, as the Magical education became more and more systematized and normalized, the self-taught combat Mages were very rare, and it was rare to see one.
Though this was mainly true for the richer nation, as there were still many Mages that learned Magic on their own way and primarily through combat, mainly in the poorer areas of the world and more dangerous places.
Obviously, the majority of these Mages in the regions like this would never really make it beyond the High-Tier, primarily due to the lack of resources and also the insufficient knowledge of how their Magic worked, which could be rather dangerous during the advancement from the High-Tier Mage to Super-Tier Mage.
She watched the fight as Messmer avoided the attacks of the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear, which grew more and more frustrated over time with the opponent, but the pride and arrogance of the creature didn't allow it to retreat.
The Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear could clearly sense the Magic Power of the opponent in front of him, and even the precise stage at which the opponent was, and the number of Stars that were activated.
This was a perk of the Silver Horn that the Silver-Horned Tattooed Bears possessed.
Yet with the combination of that weird fire that Messmer was using and unnaturally powerful Telekinesis that he was constantly using to harass the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear, he slowly but steadily managed to injure the Monster more and more.
Just as she looked, she saw Messmer using the Telekinesis Spell to control several huge pieces of rock, each weighing several hundred kilograms, and together they could weigh even a few tons as he was shooting these rocks like gun projectiles towards the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear.
Because the speed was too high, the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear couldn't properly block all of them as he was being hit one by one by the rocks. Even though these rocks wouldn't change the overall situation, being hit by one of them must hurt like hell.
And this was exactly what was happening, as the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear roared in pain, especially because Messmer was controlling the rocks to hit the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear at the place where he had previously stabbed it with the Spear of the Impaler.
As the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear was dealing with the flying projectiles, Messmer made use of this opportunity, as he rushed toward the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear and, together with several rocks hitting the Monster, he used the Spear of the Impaler to stab it through the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear's neck.
Blood gushed out of the wound almost immediately as the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear lost balance and dropped to the ground. Coupled with the previous injuries that the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear suffered, it was becoming rather too much for the Monster.
Messmer didn't stop the attack as he kept shooting rocks toward the dying Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear as he once again pierced its neck with the Spear of the Impaler once it hit the ground.
He wanted to be sure that the Monster would die.
Rather be safe than sorry, as he gave the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear another killing hit. Even despite sustaining several life-threatening injuries, the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear was still clinging to life.
Albeit only barely, as the Silver-Horn on its forehead was glowing less and less, as the light of the Silver-Horn was diminishing at a steady rate. Messmer looked at the dying Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear with glee, because this was the first Commander Level monster that he had killed.
Even though it was one that could barely reach the Commander Level, because the False Commander Level signified that it had only recently, very, very recently broken to this Level, and it barely could be a Commander Level Monster.
Once he saw the light leaving the eyes of Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear, he knew that it was finally dead as he then started dissecting the Monster. Just the corpse of a Commander Level monster was worth several million UMD.
Not to mention, the one that belonged to the rare species like the Silver-Horned Tattooed Bears, their entire body was a literal treasure trove. From the meat that could be sold for outrageous sums of money, the bones that had various uses in Alchemy and other industries to the most valuable part.
The Silver-Horn, which was a precious object for the Mages with the Psychic and Spiritual Elements. All Magic of the Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear was being congregated in the Silver Horn, so calling it the root of their Magic wasn't entirely wrong.
For the Psychic Element Mages and Spiritual Element Mages, the Silver Horn could be a crucial ingredient when breaking through the higher Tier in their Element, and it could also be used to strengthen the potential of their Element.
Even though this Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear was only at the Semi Commander Level, Messmer knew that the Silver Horn that held all of its Magic Aptitude was worth several tens of millions.
Its price was comparable to the best of the High-Grade Magic Tools, so the price would obviously be very high. For the Soul Core of the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear, that was something that he kept for himself, because it could be used to enhance his Stars.
With his special constitution, Messmer was able to use higher-level Soul Cores to enhance the low-tiered Stars, but not vice versa.
With the number of the Minion-Level Soul Cores and Warrior-Level Soul Cores that he had in his possession, coupled with the Commander-Level Soul Core, he knew that this would be enough to bring the cultivation of his Novice-Tier Void Element to Level 3, most probably even to Level 4 or Level 5.
The amount of Soul Force and Magic Power that was within the Commander-Level Soul Core was staggering.
For the Mages with multiple Elements, the more Elements they possessed, the better it was for them. Even if they never trained some of their Elements properly, if they raised them to a high enough Level, the Magic that their Stars would be producing was enough to put them on a far different level.
Like the people who had Innate Talents like Double Elemental Awakening or Triple Initial Elemental Awakening.
"You managed to kill Commander Level Monster on your own..."
She was almost in awe, because the number of people who managed to kill Monsters of their own Level alone was relatively small. The number of people who managed to kill Monsters above their Level, alone at that, was even smaller.
Ironically, though, she met some, even from the younger generation, because of Yotsuba's affiliation with the Sacred City. The Sacred City was the gathering spot for the geniuses around the world, because it boasts of the largest collection of the Magical Lore in the world.
Originally, it was created with the intention of not only guarding the continual survival of mankind, but also to gather as much Lore on the Magic as possible. Due to the disappearance of Magic from the world, most of the Magical Lineages around the world perished and didn't withstand the passage of time.
Among the other organizations or nations, there were not many that actually had people with similar abilities or potential. The only ones that boasted of something similar were obviously the Magic Association, as the first and biggest Mage organization in the world, and Parthenon.
"Not getting killed was already more than enough in this regard."
Messmer answered because this was most probably the closest that he was to death.
Fighting the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear was probably one of the stupider choices that he made in life, yet he managed to best the creature, which was an incredible feat.
Though with the gains from killing the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear, he would be able to strengthen himself by a great degree. As long as he could bring his Void Element to Level 3, it would be all worth it.
From within the fight with the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear, his Intermediate-Grade Battle Armor was cracked all over, and it could be practically considered worthless.
The Intermediate-Grade Battle Armor that was worn was worth several millions of United Magic Dollars; the sole saving grace was the fact that the corpse of Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear was far more valuable and would pay for all of the losses.
Messmer stored the corpse of the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear into his Storage-Type Magic Tool and quickly left the area together with Yotsuba Maya, as this place would soon be swarming with the monsters that were attracted here by the battle itself.
He knew that he managed to survive and win solely due to the Spear of the Impaler, which allowed him to kill Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear and survive the entire ordeal.
His very own Magical capabilities played a little to no role in defeating and killing the Semi Commander Level Silver-Horned Tattooed Bear. If not for his super physique as Mage Knight and the superior weapon in the form of Spear of the Impaler, he would have died.
One could say that he had luck when he was most unlucky.
Though he was probably less unlucky compared to the mercenaries that Messmer fought, because their leader, Zhou Lang, was a very powerful High-Tier Mage with two Elements at the High-Tier.
Yet, they managed to encounter two peak Commander Level Monsters that made short work of them and killed the majority of the mercenaries and even critically injured Zhou Lang to the point where his combat prowess dropped radically.

Several Hours Later, Jade Mountain Range
Even though Messmer hated to admit it, it seemed that they managed to get lost within the Jade Mountain Range.
His knowledge about the landscape of the Jade Mountain Range in Taiwan was little to zero, and because they were in a hurry, Messmer didn't really pay attention to where they were and where exactly they were going.
Their sole saving grace was the fact that they still had a satellite phone with them, which they took from Zhou Lang and which Yotsuba Maya used to call back to her Clan. Messmer was sure that the Yotsuba Clan had already sent some Super Mages to scour Taiwan and search for them.
Taiwan was part of the Dahan, which in turn was the homeland to the Kunlunfang Institute, and Messmer could imagine that with this incident, the Yotsuba Clan would attack Dahan, either with the support of Japan or without.
In the end, for the Yotsuba Clan, it didn't really matter that much, as the Clan was already the strongest out of the entire nation and boasted the highest number of Super Tier Mages and High Tier Mages among all Ten Master Clans, 18 Assistant Houses, and from the Japanese Army.
Not to mention, the Yotsuba Clan would have support from the Sacred City, which was already more than enough one could bargain for. Because there was nothing much to do right now, Messmer and Maya spent most of the time talking.
Even though she was kidnapped, she was still calm and composed; the only regret she had was that she couldn't kill those mercenaries by herself. Messmer learned that she was born with powerful Innate Magic called Meteor Stream, and during the Magic Awakening Ceremony, she awakened Light Elements.
One of the Supreme Elements, as Light, was one of the fundamental forces in the Cosmos.
Maya also told him that she had an Innate Talent called Star Blessed, which made her Light Element x5 stronger than it normally would be compared to the other bearers of the Light Element, while also being prone to the mutations and having Blessing of the Stars.
"No wonder that they wanted to kidnap you... You are like a walking treasure trove."
Everything that she told Messmer wasn't really any kind of secret because it was something that one could find with little to no effort.
"I still think that it's playing stupid... Dahan has barely anything around what? There are approximately 100 Super-Tier Mages, and according to public knowledge, most of them are rather mediocre and have only one Super-Tier Element. Meanwhile, my own Clan alone has more than ten Super Tier Mages, and every one of them is capable of taking on several Super-Tier Mages."
Yotsuba Genzou, Yotsuba Eisaku, and Yotsuba Motosuke, the three main branches of the Clan, were all Super-Tier Mages... in all of their Elements. Their sister Yotsuba Yume was also a full-fledged Super-Tier Mage in all of her elements.
Their mother, Yotsuba Ayame, was still alive and was also a Super-Tier Mage, though, unfortunately, her husband and Maya's grandfather, Yotsuba Motohide, perished when the Yotsuba Village was invaded by the Monster Horde led by a peak Monarch Level Monster.
Yotsuba Motohide brought down the peak Monarch Level Monster together with several hundreds of peak Commander Level Monsters.
Wife of Yotsuba Genzou, Lady Abe Yasuo was also a very powerful Super-Tier Mage, as well as Kuroba Juuzou and Yuuki Fuyuhiko.
And these were just the members of the Clan or its branches, not including the subordinates and underlings, as the Yotsbua Clan had plenty of High-Tier Mages and Super-Tier Mages that were their vassals.
This was the advantage of belonging to one of the very first Magic Clans that were ever established, and much to their luck, they even possessed overhelming aptitude for Magic and managed to monopolize a steady source of resources and even participated in the creation of the Sacred City.
Meanwhile, Dahan has only something around one hundred Super-Tier Mages, but most of them were tied down to the borders with the Great Asian Union and the old Chinese Clans that primarily aligned themselves with the Great Asian Union or remained neutral.
Most Chinese Magic Clans aligned themselves with the Great Asian Union solely because Beijing and the Forbidden City were located on the territory of the Great Asian Union.
So the number of the Super-Tier Mages that the Dahan could mobilize on standby wasn't really that high, and if the Yotsuba Clan attacked the Dahan, then the losses for the Dahan would be extremely severe.
Obviously, the only one place in the entire Dahan that they couldn't attack was the capital city of the Dahan, but aside from that... everything else could Yotsuba Clan attack head on.

Somewhere in Taipei, Three Hours Later
Yotsuba Genzou was a middle-aged man with rather handsome features and neatly trimmed beard and mustache with short black hair and wearing Top-Grade Battle Armor of the Sacred City as he arrived at Taiwan via teleportation.
One of his Elements was Space Elements, and he recently reached the peak of Super Tier in the Space Element and even elevated its potency to Level 5. In his Psychic Element, he had long ago achieved the Super-Tier with Level 6 Potency.
Reaching the Level 6 Magic Potency in Super-Tier Element was a staggering achievement because the number of Commander Level Soul Cores would be staggering. In the best case, one would need just a few hundred of them, in the worst case, Mage would need more than a thousand and a half.
"They should be located one hundred and twenty-seven kilometers to the south."
One of the people who was wearing the uniform of the Sacred City's Enforcers who arrived in Taiwan to pick up Yotsuba Maya.
It seemed that the situation really worked itself somehow, and by some luck, the mercenaries who kidnapped the Heiress of the Yotsuba Clan were injured and most killed by Commander Level Monsters.
Afterwards, they encountered a Hunter in the wilderness, who attacked them, killed all of them, and rescued his daughter. Not to mention, his daughter told him that the Hunter was a little older than twenty and was already a peak Mid-Tier Mage Knight with some sort of mutated Elements.
"Head out. Kill the ones that survived."
Yotsuba Genzou stated as he looked at the people on the floor, most of them belonging to the leadership of Taipei, including the Governor-General of Taiwan, who was a Super-Tier Mage.
Yet, it seemed that today his luck ran out.
