Yet, there wasn't anything that he could do about it, much less outright rejecting the "offer" to have a Dragonlord supporting the Trifarinan Mercenary Company in their strike against the Arvinos-backed bandits and brigands.

He understood that at the same time, it was a huge advantage for the Trifarinan Mercenary Company, because with the Dragonlord, they could outright breach through the most powerful defenses of the bandits and brigands.

Basically, it lowers the dangers and possibility of sustaining high losses or any losses at all straight away. With the protection of the Dragonlord, many things would become much easier, but at the same time, they would be under heavy scrutiny.

Right now, the sole thing in which Valkorion could hope was that the daughter of General Aenar Belaerys wouldn't really care about them that much or about what they were doing and would leave them to their own devices.

Welp, they still had a good chance for such an outcome, as most of the Dragonlords didn't really have a favorable opinion on the sellswrods that much. So, it was also highly possible that the Dragonlord in question would just leave the Trifarian Mercenary Company be and do her own thing.

"As you command, General."

Valkorion said as General Belaerys then dismissed him, and after reaching an agreement with the General of the Legions.

He needed to relay the information to Camille that General Belaerys from the Legion stationed in the Cartharys wants to order more of the military supplies, as well as his progress on the badits and brigands.

He knew that Camille would be especially pleased with the recent development, as he had achieved a lot. He managed to secure help from General Belaerys against the bandits and brigands backed by the Arvinos Clan, and the General of the Valyrian Legions wanted to order even more military supplies.

When everything was done with the General Belaerys, Valkorion left the encampment of the Legion in the center of the Cartharys and ordered the Trifarian Mercenary Company to head for his mansion within the Cartharys, where his soldiers would create a provisional camp.

Even though his mansion was relatively big, it wasn't actually that big to accommodate more than one hundred mercenaries of the Trifarian Mercenary Company. The mercenaries of the Trifarian Mercenary Company would need to construct some temporary camps and adjust everything in the property to the mansion where they would be living.

In the end, Valkorion didn't plan to stay in the Freehold much longer. Right now, he needed to advance to the Mid Sequence Beyond, and afterwards, he couldn't wait for the moment when he would leave the Freehold behind and never return.

In the end, the time of the Valyrian Freehold was already limited enough, and the Freehold would perish sooner or later. It was a shame that he couldn't remain within the Valyrian Freehold longer because, right now, in Faerûn, there is no better environment for the Beyonders to grow in than the Valyrian Freehold.

When they arrived back at his manor in the Cartharys that he had not visited for the past several months, he ordered the Officers in the Trifarian Mercenary Company to start building the tents with the supplies that they had received from the Ferros Chamber of Commerce, while the Beyonders and Officers of the Mercenary Company would be living in the manor itself.

The ordinary soldiers would be living in the tents outside the manor on the extensive property.

As he finished issuing the orders to the Officers of the Trifarian Mercenary Company, he took Darius and Aruk Glinthorn together with him to meet Albus Ferros, who was managing the business of the Ferros Chamber of Commerce within the Cartharys.

Right now, the merchant district of the Cartharys was bustling with people, as his little pet, Glaurung, was standing on Valkorion's right shoulder and watching everything curiously. The little Greater Magma Drake was curious about everything.

He was still a hatchling that was still growing, so it was only natural that he was curious about everything and anything that was happening in the world and around him. Not to mention, this was the first time since the little hatchling saw so many people together and in an open place.

Though he was somewhat surprised that the little creature wasn't nervous or overwhelmed by so many people in one place, as it zoomed with confidence and arrogance as it looked at the people that were walking through the trading zone of the Cartharys like they were its lesser.

The arrogance of the True Dragons was also deeply ingrained in the Lesser Dragon Races, too, especially in those who were descended from the lineage of the Red Dragons, like the Magma Drakes.

Another person who was accompanying them was Gotrik Gurnisson, as the dwarven slayer went with them to the Trade District, because he wanted to find a good blacksmith to maintain his own equipment and armor pieces.

Cartharys also had a few dwarven blacksmiths and Forge Masters that arrived at the city due to the impending goblinoid overpopulation to make a good amount of coin. It was the centuries-old truth that had been in effect since time immemorial.

War was immensely profitable.

And it was true.

Many people were able to get filthy rich on the war, so the war was always welcomed by many people, as it meant an opportunity to make money. Be it for the mercenaries who were seeking employment, or the weapon and armor manufacturers who were producing and creating wargear for the soldiers.

And many, many more that where in the play and in the wider machinery of the war production.

It didn't take them that long to arrive at the shop, which was owned by the Ferros Chamber of Commerce, as compared to previous times, right now, the shop of the Ferros Chamber of Commerce is bustling with people.

There were many adventurers, mercenaries, representatives of the other groups, and even delegates from the various units of the Legions who were seeking to buy some more specialized supplies.

While there were many merchants and traders in the city, not many were able to guarantee the quantity and quality, like the Ferros Chamber of Commerce, which was owned by the Clan Ferros.

Now that Valkorion looked around, he saw that there were even more employees of the Ferros Chamber of Commerce, as Albus Ferros wasn't probably doing everything by himself, nor could he.

There were too many people and too many things to do.

"It seemed that the business is booming..."

Valkorion muttered as he went to the second floor of the shop that was closed to the visitors and shoppers, because he knew that it was where Albus would be. The man was more on the lazy note, and now that he got additional employees from the Ferros Chamber of Commerce, he didn't need to handle the most menial things by himself.

So he was most probably playing the role of the manager of the shop and dealing with some paperwork, while he was also chilling at the same time, and enjoyed the feeling when his job was done for him.

It wasn't really that surprising...

Even the second floor was transformed slightly, as it accommodated more offices for the additional personnel helping to manage the business of the Ferros Chamber of Commerce in Cartharys.
