One step forward, two steps back (Patreon)

Had a couple of stumbles today. Some glue seeped into one of the eagle eyes and ruined it (my fault for not sealing it well enough), so had to break off all the sculpting I did yesterday. 

Also decided to rip off the 'lips'. A bummer to 'kill' so much work, but I had made them too thick and it impeded the motion of the jaw. Also wanted to improve the color, so hopefully this will be worth the sacrifice to redo them.

Frustrating to have to redo so many things but hopefully will ultimately give a much better result I can be proud of.
