Hi guys, I've been thinking about this for awhile and wanted your input. I always feel like I have to repeat myself in each video showing how to make a gusset, but I'd assume most of you already know how to make one. It takes a long time to explain over and over.

I was thinking of making a free gusset tutorial that I can just point to during my regular monthly videos when I get to the long gusset patterning section. Would you guys be ok with that? Or would it upset anyone who has already bought one of my gusset patterning tutorials?

I would not be upset. The more resources to watch/study is great imo.

I would be ok with that. I've brought your gusset tutorials because I want to support you/learn. Also like you said, it will cut down on constantly repeating yourself if people already have a resource they can go to. Or attach it to eatch video that needs a gusset.

All your videos have a wealth of other information, I think if it saves you time and energy it's a great idea

I feel like that’s ok but sometimes gussets can’t be more complex on certain plushies so I’d be afraid of cutting some steps in the patterning videos that may be kinda overlooked

It would work if you insert a link of sorts or point out that you are skipping the step. Don't want to confuse anyone.

Sweet Stitches Plushies

I think this is a great idea :) with one exception that if you ever care to share new gusset making ways that would be amazing (Eg. Your bat gusset was fantastic and yet different to achieve a nice rounded look in a different way than a usual flat gusset). Keep up the amazing work ;)

Yeah for more specialised stuff I’ll def still include it

NazFX_Studios

Will def include unusual techniques when they pop up 😃

I love that idea! I don’t usually have a ton of spare money so I haven’t been able to buy any specific gusset videos, and had to kinda piece together what that was and how to see it, so i feel like it’d be helpful for newbies like me and also cut down on video time for you

NazFX_Studios

Oh yeah would refer to the tutorial and provide a link in the description or something like that

As someone who bought the gusset tutorials previously, doing a free one sounds like a good idea! When watching the griffin tutorial (this was my first month as a patron, so I'm brand new lol!) it made sense because I knew the process already- if I was coming in fresh, I'd probably would've needed to go over that part a few times to understand it fully!

If the demand for it is there then I don't see why not, as a relatively new follower I definately wouldn't be adverse to the idea of having a copy of it for myself for future use. As long as it won't be too much of an issue to make one.
