I'm so sorry if this has been asked before, but... what embroidery machine + model do you have? Am pondering buying one in the next 6 - 12 months, and buying one with a bigger hoop right away seems to be the way to go.

Definitely a good idea! You wont regret it. I have a bernina 830 that I bought second hand, probably overkill unless you are using it for fulltime work. I do love the bernina brand though, very robust machines and worth the price tag
