Was touching up some embroidery elements on this guy and thought I'd share.

Despite using white tear away stabiliser underneath the white thread, that neon orange discoloured it more than I like. I use a wash proof paint (golden fluid acrylics) and a very fine paintbrush to add a layer of white that really makes it pop.

I also went in with a dark green in the pupil to add more contrast. The dark green pictured is the darkest green thread I have but it wasn't dark enough imo. I often touch up blacks too (on fill stitches). I've never been able to get my machine to have 110% no gaps noticeable on very dark colors. Something I should work on one day.

Once this is all dry I'll add that signature liquid sequins sparkle.

What liquid sequins do you use? Also, doesn't adding this stuff make the plush potentially less cuddly?

Decoart liquid sequins. Embroidery is already not soft/pretty rough to touch so I don't think this makes it less cuddly than it was in the first place
