Hi guys! I am going to be starting this absolute beast tomorrow. I need some feedback on part of the process.

You might be able to tell that this is going to kill me haha. So to take some of the pressure off (and have more time to focus on all those head/mane details) I am going to be editing the griffin sitting pattern I made previously into this body shape.

This isn't new, I often edit past patterns to speed the process up on new ones. But I wanted to know, for this tutorial should I show myself editing the old pattern? Or would you rather me make a new video once the body pattern is edited to show how I would make it from scratch.

OR I could include the part of the griffin video showing how I made that shape from scratch AND then show the editing process.

What do you guys think would be best for your learning purposes? Sorry if it sounds a little confusing.

i think showing the both would be the most helpful !!! i’d like to see both processes

Colleen S

Personally I would find it very helpful to see both as well

Mango Island

I think showing the griffin building then how it’s edited would be rad!

Happy Baker

Both would be awesome! Your patterning process has helped me grow and learn so so much, im so grateful you include that part in your videos

Fawncy

Both would be my vote!

Blackash

With how much work it's going to be for the rest of this plush do whatever is easiest for you! I think showing how you edit would be plenty of information since you can always suggest the griffin vid as a supplemental video

Nerdmaid

Your editing process would be a delight to watch!

Nala

Both would be much appreciated!

Bluebell

I would like to see both, but maybe tips on editing a pre existing pattern would be great.

Phiri The Art Wolf

I think both would be amazing! I know it’s a lot of work but it’d be super helpful

Freckled Cat Creations

Omg! Honestly as many clips of both as you can handle is helpful! I am hungry for so much learning! And good luck with this!!!

Hayley Dickey

I think seeing the Griffin video and how you altered the pattern would be nice

DragonGoddess Creations

I think showing a video on how you edited the griffin pattern to make it into the foo dog pattern would be a great learning tool.

Cornwell

If it’s not too much trouble to show both that would be amazing.

Jem

I feel like the most beneficial would be to include the existing griffin video plus the editing process. It's a good compromise for keeping your stress managed and making the best product for people who might not've been patrons when you made the griffin/are buying the video from Gumroad.

King Cash

How to do alterations on an existing pattern is very important in plush making. So maybe some about that. But for me, the sewing part and the regular exlaining on the start is very good too

PlipSews

I'd prefer to see the relevant part of the griffin video plus the editing process. Seeing the original pattern creation AND the alteration process I think would give me a better understanding of the thought process that goes into creating each piece

editing part will be cool. But probably new patreons need the process... or add that you have to purchase the griphing pattern to see this part... maybe a little unfair? or dont... Because is a lot of info...
