They’re done! I’m so in love with this lil guy. It’s a pretty big plush too. About 17” tall. I’ll post a video later tonight.

All embroidery can be done in 4x4 hoop.

In this tut I will aim to cover:

My workflow from concept to 3D model, to a faux fur pattern. (You can also sculpt your model w clay)

Prepping and working with faux fur (I also show how to trim without clippers)

Strategic color and embroidery placement

How to wrangle mochi minky for appliqué

How to use mochi minky for squishy paw pads

Magnetic tail

How to paint spots (I cover how to get great, soft-to-touch results WITHOUT an airbrush)

Thread sculpting

Embroidery onto faux fur

And probably more that I’m forgetting. There’s 4 hrs of raw footage for me to sift through haha.

The finished plush is looking for a home. This is a BIG plush (17” tall). You’ll see sizing better in the video coming soon.

Has both faux fur and minky elements. Huge magnetic tail. Durable, wash resistant spots. Squishy mochi paws and no internal armature.

Looking for offers over $1200usd. May consider short (less than 3 month) payment plans for high offers. Dm me

Will you cover airbrushing techniques? I have an airbrush I use for other stuff, but am uncertain on using it for fabric. I really need to learn how, though

NazFX_Studios

yes I'll cover both how to use an airbrush and the other method

Heya! Was just watching the video tutorial for this bean since I'm thinking of making a personal plush with it. Just watching your section of the magnets and a quick tip is not to use hot glue- the heat you talk about actually allows the metal to become unaligned, magnets create their field by having atoms lined up in the same direction (fancy way of saying reduces the strength of magnets). Sorry if that sounds a bit ott just trying to be helpful. Often means using twice the amount of magnets than planned or finding the connection isn't as strong as when you tested before gluing. Plus as you said in the video that heat can be a little dangerous for fingers. I actually only learned about this recently from some other fursuit makers x3 even though I took science I completely forgot it was a thing. Makers were recommending using E600 glue instead (often used of resin/3D printed parts so knowing your awesome skill set you probably have something similar laying around) Absolutely adore just watching the video. So useful to see video while hearing you talking in detail about techniques for a lot of things I already do in fursuit making. Really think this can help me improve my own quality (and hopefullly speed to ahh I'm so slow). I was hesitant to do mochi paw pads (especially while how much minky cuddle plush I have laying around) but your video also really helped to show good ways to work with it. I won't lie the stretch had me terrified since I don't think I've used a stretch fabric since school 0.0 I know it is your job, but I seriously want to thank you for making such quality videos and covering everything in such detail. Your work is truly a priceless resource for the community and I'm so happy to get to support your work.
