Ideas for multi month projects? Help? (Patreon)

Hey guys, I have been thinking I'd love to do some more complex patterns/tutorials but they would require taking 2 months rather than just 1. For example a realistic faux fur wolf, or a complex dragon (like spyro-eque).

I'm just not sure how to deal with payment over 2 months.

Would a part 1 video and part 2 video work? Not sure how to distribute the actual pattern this way.

I don't want to swap to 'pay per reward' rather than pay monthly as I'm not sure if it'd screw up current pledges?

If you have any ideas on how I could do this please chime in below
